"What the hell was with that cute sound." I said.

"Not that, And what kind of trick did you use to avoid every other of our attacks but fell from a simple rock." Ryo said.

"Hey it wasn't my fault it was the rocks fault for being there in the first place." She said embarrassed. "And you let your guard see ya." She started running only to fall down again with a "Kya!"

"I can't understand why there are rocks everywhere I go literally, even inside the temple." She said with an annoyed tone as she got up.

As she was complaining about rocks following her everywhere, I saw the leaf in the previous spot she fell down. I smirked and picked it.

"See ya, Ryo let's go." I said as I started running with a smug face.

Ryo ran too but she stopped Ryo by holding his hand unsheathed her sword-which I did not know she had- and placed it at his neck.

"Give me back that leaf or your friend is dead." She said with a threatening tone.

"I don't care, that lizard bound me to him, do what you want with him at this point food is better than a brat." I said as Ryo made a betrayed face.

"If you get more that two kilometres away from your soul partner you'll die and not before you feel immense pain." He said with a smug look and I stopped running after I heard that.

"YOU!, I am pretty sure you can escape." I said knowing how strong he is.

"Just wanted to tell you a fact." He said as he probably did something as she let go of him.

"Ow! That hurts." She said as she suddenly felt his body started become immensely hot. "Hey where are you going, if you want food you can come to my village it's not like you'll find anything edible to mix the leaf in." She said as she sheathed her blade in her waist.

""WHY DIDNT YOU TELL US EARLIER!!"" We both said at the same time. "Come on lead the way, don't want to get the food cold." I said.

"Your attitudes sure changed fast anyway let's go but first give me the leaf." She said stretching out her hand.

"Here but you better not poison us or anything." I said giving her the leaf.

"Okay, I won't really gain anything from killing you both." She said turning. "The village is this way. let's go" she said as we followed behind.

"By the way my name is kagura and his name is Ryo, so what's yours." I said.

"My name is Mizu- Kya!." She fell again. "It's Mizuki." She said getting up.

Timeskip

We arrived at the village and I noticed that the village is Japanese themed. I was surprised so they have this kinds of places too. I was happy they were from my past life's culture.

There were people walking around in Japanese attire from kids playing around to adults conversing, it was very vibrant and peaceful.

"Miii-chaaan!!" A 7-year old girl started running towards Mizuki which caused other children to turn their heads and jump on mizuki giggling.

"Ah, Mizuki-san come I made some special treats for you." A middle-aged woman said. And other people started flocking around her, she is definitely popular among the villagers.

"Hmm, who are they. Are they Mi-chan's friends." A 7-year old cute little boy that looked identical to the girl that called Mizuki earlier said.

"No they are not my friends, rather they are strangers who easily betrays each other and are for some reason following me." Mizuki said with a smile while being hugged by the kids.

"Wha-" I was betrayed, she is no different than us.

"See, now do you know how painful it is to be betrayed by your own friend." He said.

"You're not affected by what she said." I asked.

"No I don't really like kids anyway." He said with a shrug.

I need to get on these kids good side. "Kagura is not a bad person~, kagura is a friend~." I said with a baby voice  to a nearby kid with a closed-eyed smile.

The male kid stuck his tongue out at me. "Meee, I don't want a creepy girl talking to me, hmph." He said.

I had an irk mark on my forehead while Ryo was literally choking after laughing so hard.

"He called you creepy pfft , Hahahahahaha." Ryo said laughing as a kid went to him.

"Ahh, you have wings soo cool." A boy said and I realised Ryo didn't retract his wings. Other kids came to him too.

"I have magic see I made a doll." I said using ice to make a doll.

"Go away, we don't like you." A kid no brat said.

And I remembered, my relationship with kids in my last life was crap. Seriously, just like that they'll say they don't like me with no good reason at all. I sighed giving up.

"Everyone I need to go to the temple bye bye. Let's go were almost there." Mizuki said.

We followed her till we reached a red and golden temple, it seemed to be the biggest building here.

"Welcome to Murasaku village." Mizuki said as she opened her arms wide. "Look behind." She said and we both looked back and we saw the whole village.

"Wow." I said it was really beautiful from here.

"Now let's go inside." She said.

When we arrived inside, women wearing white kimono came out of nowhere forming two lines.

"Welcome back, Mizuki-sama, Obaa-san wants to speak to you." They said in unison, while I was wondering if they practiced everything.

"Mizuki-sama, I think it is time we start talking about your marriage." A middle-agedwoman said walking in the middle of the lines. "Now we nee- who are these pests that dare to walk into temple and breath the same air as Mizuki, imprison those rats at once." She said ending with a 'tch'.
