Chapter Ten

"Now that I think about it who was that man that barged in." I said as we were walking across the corridors.

"That rat, he's the duke of dukedom mirfesta, therno mirfesta in the town close to our village, he's been asking for Mizuki's hand in marriage since a week ago, of course she's been rejecting him but that rat never listens, hmph insects will always be disgusting creatures that never understands." She said in an annoyed tone.

"Is that So, then why did he ask for all the other ladies including me." I asked.

"*sigh* That man likes adding to his harem, he'll add anyone as long as their beautiful whether they're older or younger than him whether they like it or not, but don't be bothered by him, he's actually pretty scared of me." Obaa-chan said.

"By the way, Ryo why have you been so quiet you're always teasing me but now, you were dead silent this whole time." I said looking back at Ryo who was looking down and seemed to be lost in thought.

"Ah, it's nothing, that man, something was not right about his soul." Ryo said looking up.

"His soul? What do you mean." I said confused.

"It was a little black and looked like it was swirling around, argh it's hard to explain." He said.

"Hmm, okay." I said not caring anymore since I'd never understand if it's hard to explain. 'But a black soul, huh.'

We were walking when we passed by a room with a blue door. I stopped to look at it's decoration, it's beautiful, there was a writing using emeralds on the door in cursive 'our beautiful Mizuki.' With many other beautiful designs.

"Ah do you like the door, that is Mizuki's room, her mother did those decorations, it's beautiful isn't it." Obaa-chan said smiling recalling a happy memory.

"I am going to check on Mizuki, to see if she's alright." I said.

"Okay, she should be sleeping by now." Obaa-chan said.

I held the door knob and opened it, the room was dark but I could see a little light from the window bringing in light.

"Mizuki." I said looking around till I reached the bed. "Woah the bed looks soft." I said touching the bed. Then I felt something wet on the bed. 'These are tears, and their not totally dried yet.' And when I looked closer I saw nobody on the bed.

I checked the bathroom but no luck. 'Why do I have a foreboding feeling.' I thought, and I felt a tingling feeling in the air, 'traces of magic.'

I went out of the room and saw Obaa-chan and Ryo waiting for me.

"I think Mizuki has gone missing, I did not find her in the room." I said.

"Wait, what, no way." Obaa-chan said panicking. "That girl wouldn't go outside at this time and she would be able to defeat anyone that attacked her or kidnapped her, anyway let's just go check." Obaa-chan said.

"How did you know, did you check everywhere." Ryo said.

"She was nowhere to be found in the room and I felt traces of magic in the air." I said worried.

"Ladies." Obaa-chan said and so many of those servants appeared with their head bowed. "Get everyone in this temple to look for Mizuki." She said.

"Yes, Obaa-chan." The one at the front said before disappearing again.

"Obaa-chan I think I might know how to find her with one of my skills." I said.

"You're really going to help us thank you, we need to find Mizuki." She said panicking.

"Yeah, I need to enter this room and make sure nobody disturbs me." I said before entering the room.

This skill is called 'area sensory' it allows me to see all that happened to someone, I just need to be extremely focused and I need to be in any place Mizuki was before being kidnapped, the reason I didn't use it is because it's hard to be so focused, I can't exactly do that but it doesn't consume too much energy.

I went to the middle of the room and sat and crossed my legs. I activated area sensory, I saw the places this kidnapper went to.

Before I saw an abandoned building in the middle of the woods, and inside were several girls from around 16 to 30 tied up some crying, unconscious and some with dull eyes.

I opened my eyes and stood up. 'I think I know who did this.' I thought exiting the door.

"Huh, where are they? I guess they are probably looking for her. I saw a passing servant and held her shoulder. "Wait, where's Obaa-chan and Ryo." I said.

"I see you are done. Obaa-chan is in her room, let me take you there." She said leading the way as I followed.

We arrived at a plain white door with a name plate 'Hana' she knocked and went in.

"Did you find any clues." Obaa-chan said going straight to the point the moment she saw me.

"Yes, I know where she is and I think I know who did it, the person that did it is duke therno." I said.

"Figured, that guy has been even more persistent since yesterday, now let's go quickly, I don't want Mizuki to be soiled before we get there." She said getting a sword that was hanged up on the right side of her.

"Obaa-chan, is there an abandoned building in the West of here." I said remembering the abandoned building.

"Yeah, it's old and never used, is Mizuki there." Obaa-chan said with a serious expression.

"Yeah, and that ba***rd too." I said then we heard a knock and someone coming in.

"I guessing you've found out where she is." Ryo said coming in.

"Yeah and we're going to barge into that place." I said.

Timeskip.

The three of us Ryo, Obaa-chan and me were standing in front of a two story battered abandoned building.

"Okay now let's destroy this building." Ryo said with strong fierce purple and black flames in his right hand.

"Wait, Mizuki and many other girls are inside." I said stopping him from burning the whole building.

"I agree with her." Obaa-chan said.

"But you can just destroy the front, since I'm pretty sure the guards don't stand a chance against us. " I said.

"Okay." Ryo said before the front of the building suddenly exploded.

"How did you make it explode so fast without touching it." I said looking at the building in shock.

"It was easy since, there's something flammable there, all I had to do was trigger it with my magic." Ryo said putting his hands behind his head and walked forward.

We followed behind him. 'Now I'll make that lowlife sc*m suffer, if he did something to Mizuki.' I thought angrily.
