After Steve left you at your room he made his way to his room still filled with guilt because of what had happened with the both of you. Once he arrived at his room he threw himself on the bed and went straight to sleep.
-Next Morning-
As the Avenger arrived at the compound everyone went their separate way. But Steve went straight to Tony to talk about you.
Steve: "Hey Tony can I talk to you?"
Tony: "Sure thing Cap what going on?"
Steve: "In private please."
Tony's face was a mixture of curiosity and fear. Steve lead him to an empty room to talk.
Tony: "So what so important captain?"
Steve: "Last night after you all left Y/N and I had a talk and something I said triggered her memories?"
Tony: "What do you mean triggered her memories?"
Steve: "She said she remembered the night me and Bucky left for the war in the 40s. What are we going to do?"
Tony: "Don't tell anyone yet. I'll get Banner to run some test on her to see what going on. But for now act normal and tell her to tell us if it happens again."
Steve: "Alright."
Steve left the room to tell you about the news. He saw you sitting at the table having breakfast with the rest of the team who had already put their mission things away.
Bucky: "Hey Steve why the long face?"
Steve scoffed and looked at you and when you notice you look down at your hand for a second and then look away.
Steve: "No reason."
After breakfast Steve pulled you aside from the rest of the group to talk.
Steve: "Hey how are you feeling?"
Y/N: "I'm fine."
Steve: "Look I told Tony about what happened yesterday and he said he wanted to run some test to check if everything is okay and to find out the reason why your memories are coming back now."
Y/N: "Test?"
You say hesitantly.
Steve: "Yeah some standard test why?"
Y/N: "I don't have the best memories involving test and labs."
Steve: "Don't worry Bucky will be there with you. I can talk to him."
