CHAPTER 7

After you conversation with Bucky and Steve you leave the library and head to your room to change and then the training room. Once you get there you put your things aside and start hitting the punching bag. You hit one punch after the other. Every hit stronger than the last. When finally you stop hitting and start thinking about everything. Bucky. Steve. Your memory's.Your past. If you worth saving.You think that you've done so many things. Maybe you were too far gone? But before you're able to deepen your thoughts even more someone comes into the training room.

Nat: "Hey. Look Tony gave Bruce the all clear for your memories. You ready?"

Y/N: "Yeah. Let's get this over with."

You fallow Nat to the lab and there you see Steve and Bruce. Bruce instructed you to sit on the table. You look up to the ceiling and feel someone grab your hand. You look and see it was Steve. He gives you a small smile in support. He seems a bit upset but you don't pay much attention. Wanda enters the room and walks behind you to where you were laying down.

Wanda: "Ready?"

Y/N: "As ever."

Wanda put her hand on your head. The suddenly a sharp pain hits you. You grip Steve's hand even harder. One wave of pain after the other comes at you. Ever memory returns ever memory of Steve putting your hair behind your ear. Or of Bucky showing off in front of you. Every kiss. Every touch. Every I love you. Every moment at once. Of you three Together. After all your memory's came back to you. You lock eyes with the first person you see. Which happened to be Steve. You reach out to him and grab him giving him a hug. You cling to him as you cry. He hesitantly pats your back holding you tighter. Everyone leaves. Leaving you and Steve alone. You still continue to cling to him. Minutes later you start to pull away when suddenly you hear the door swing open.

Sharon: "What the hell Steve? You blew me off for this?"

You look at Sharon, she looked pissed he hands balled up into fists. An Steve try to reason with her you ask,

Y/N: "Who's she?"

Sharon: "I'm the girlfriend. Who the hell are you?"

Before you could answer Steve stepped in and blocked your view of her.

Steve: "Sharon calm down. She's an old friend."

Steve words hurt a little. If he were to say that and hour ago maybe you wouldn't have cared but with your memories it hurt to hear. After everything that you went through together. Was that the way he saw you now. But you shake it off and remember that it has been almost 70 years. Those feelings must be long gone.

Steve: "Bucky asked me to come look after her. It was just a favor."

With those final words you jump off the bed and leave without another word. You find a corner to sit down and think is that all I was, a favor. What about the moment you shared before Sharon interrupted.What about - you stop yourself no he's not mine anymore. The regained memory left you confused you need to find a way to get back to you. Or at least a distraction. Something. Anything. POW!! POW!! POW!! You shoot three bullets making it every time. The gun range, there was something about it that left you more calm. It was like every bullet you shoot your anger or sadness would go with it. Luckily the compound had one. It was strange but Tony was known to be extra. You kept shooting until you felt a tap on your arm and you turn around gun still in hand.

Nat: "Hey watch the gun!"

She said as she pushed the gun away from her face.

Y/N: "Haven't you heard of not to sneak up to a person with a gun. It's dangerous."

Nat: "What are you even doing here?"

Y/N: "Blowing off steam."

Nat: "That bad huh. How are you with - you know- you memories coming back and all?"

Y/N: "It weird it like everything is recent for me. It feels like it was just yesterday that we were playing a life together and now. Now Steve has a girlfriend who is an ass and Bucky he's been threw so much that I can't start to understand."

Nat: "You could always chose to move on from them. Was about that guy from the bar?"

Y/N: "I don't think I will ever see him again. He said he was just here to meet a friend."

Nat: "Who knows."

Y/N: "Alright I'm going to head out. I going to my room."

Nat didn't say anything and just nodded. You left making your way to your room. When out of no were someone bumped into you with full strength. You look up to see Sharon.

Sharon: "Watch were you going. Maybe if you were less focused on trying to steal my boyfriend you be able to see where you were going and not bump into people."

Y/N: "You do know he is a person right not an object you labeled as you "Boyfriend"? "

Sharon: "Whatever move."

Y/N: "Oh now I'm starting to want you to make me."

Sharon must have felt threatened because she quickly scurried off. You continue to walk ignoring what had just happened. As you walk you see sam talking to some one he seemed familiar but you just brush it off and approach them.

Sam: "Yo y/n!"

The man sam was talking to turned around.

Joaquin: "Y/N?"

Sam: "Wait you know her?"

Joaquin: "Yeah we met at a Bar a while back."

You have a flash back to the bar. He was the guy. THE guy the one you shared a hot and passionate kiss with. The one you made out with.

Joaquin: "It's been a minute huh?"

Y/N: "Yeah it has."

You felt awkward you never expected to see him again especially this soon.

Y/N: "What ... What are you doing here exactly?"

Joaquin: "Remember that friend told you I was going to meet? Well that friend was Sam. We're doing a mission together."

Sam: "Yeah we should get back to that Y/N has distracted you enough."

Y/N: "It not my fault!"

Joaquin: "Yeah she can't help looking that good."

Sam: "Ew no. I can't believe you are flirting in front of me."

You and Joaquin laugh as you look at each other.

Y/N: "Alright I'll get out of your hair."

You walk out looking back at them and with no surprise Joaquin was looking at you as you walked away. As you walk you pass by the gym and see him hitting the bag. But you decide not to go in and give him sometime to cool off. You feel a little guilty about what had happed with Joaquin but quickly shake it off when you remember that you are no longer together. *Ha* you think to yourself after all this time your love for him, for either of them never and will probably never change.

Y/N: " I'm pathetic."
