After dropping you off at you room Steve makes his way to the kitchen for a glass of water. Before reaching the kitchen he see Bucky who was sitting on the couch staring at an unusual sliver ring on his hand. Steve approached him.
Steve: "Hey Buck."
Bucky looked back at Steve a bit surprised but then he looked back at the ring.
Bucky: "Hey Steve."
Steve: "Is everything okay with you Bucky? Look if it about her-"
Before Steve could finish Bucky cut him off.
Bucky: "So what if it is about her. I don't get how you can be so calm around her you were just as in love as I was. And now she's back and doesn't even remember our names. Let along the fact that we were in love and were going to spend the rest of our lives together."
Steve walked to the kitchen and opened the fridge and grabbed a glass pitcher and Bucky followed him. Steve lay back on the counter facing Bucky.
Steve: "I'm not calm. My heart shredded to pieces every time I see her. But I can't feel that way I moved on. I'm with someone else now. Do you know how much it kills me to pretend that I don't miss her. But things are different now. It shouldn't even matter it's not like she remembers anything."
Bucky: "What if.... What if she was starting to remember. What if we could get her memories back."
Steve: "don't look at all the what if's they never come true."
Bucky: "Steve I think I'm still in love with her."
Steve: "Be careful Bucky. I'm going to bed."
Steve left Bucky there. Thinking by himself and went to his room.
-Next morning-
You wakeup around 6 in the morning you force yourself out of your bed. It takes you a moment to realize were you are and remember what happened the day before. You walk out of you room and start to walk towards the kitchen when you hear loud voices yelling.
Tony: "Hey when is the food going to be ready!"
Wanda: "When I finish."
Peter: "Mr. Stark can I go on the mission with them today?"
Tony: "NOPE!"
Wanda: "Thor can you help with the plates?"
Thor: "On it!"
Steve: "Were's Banner?"
Tony: "In his lab."
