"Wait," He touches my shoulder. "Can I give you my number?"

"I don't think so EJ." She smiles, starting to walk away pulling her sister behind her, when he runs in front of the sisters.

"Okay how about you give me your number as um... friends?" He bargains.

"Umm..." She looks back at Ricky, who's brown eyes are still focused on the conversation unfolding, still trying to ask what's happening. Since when do I care what Ricky Bowen thinks? "Sure. Friends... and then maybe we can... see what happens." She smiles at him.

This is cause for a slow smile spreading across his lips. "Sounds good." He remarks, passing his phone to Nini to fill in the contact, much to Ricky's surprise

"I'll talk to you some time, should you decide to text me." She announces walking away and pulling her sister along with her. She can feel his eyes still on her.

Her sister quickly turns her head back. "He's still watching you."

"I know." She smiles. They usually do.

"So is Ricky." Ricky?

"Huh?"

"Yup. He's looking at you too." She turns around at the doors of the cafeteria to two brown eyes spewing lasers at her. She shrugs and walk out with her sister.

"So he likes you."

"EJ? Yeah I can tell."

"No. Well yeah, but Ricky too."

Her brows pull together. "What? No he doesn't. He just doesn't want EJ distracting me from my work. He's my tutor now, remember."

"Okay." She sing-songs, with a smile spread across her face.

"What?" The older sister questions.

"Nothing." She smiles again, pulling Nini to the outside tables. "So let me tell you all about my day!"

She smile as her sister  regales her with everything that happened up until now, from her science class with the cute boy, to her new friend that's in her global history class.

Nini finds a strange sense of comfort in the fact El is here now. It's a lot easier to keep an eye on her now.

"So how is your day so far?" She chitters.
