To say the least, approaching Impel Down was an impending fear of hers. Even if she wanted to back out now, she wouldn't be able to. The guards on land and on ships were prepared for her to make a move. Thinking about that, she didn't call in beforehand... Whoops.

As her sailboat came closer to the metal port she could sense with observation haki, Chief Warden Magellan, and Vice Warden Hannyabal approaching from afar. Putting the coded book in the secret compartment underneath her bed and grabbing a rope near the ladder, she headed out. At this point, the Wardens were closer and almost in talking range. She hopped off the boat, having already connected the rope to the pole of the mainsail and tied the other side to the port.

She did a short bow once at a decent distance and greeted them as such.

"Good evening Chief Warden Magellan, Vice Warden Hannyabal," "What are you doing here Beatrix? You had not called for access even with the upcoming war you would have," Magellan responded properly

In the background, Hannyabal was grumbling about wanting to be warden, not the vice warden.

"I apologize for not calling beforehand. I was caught up with work and, it seemed to have slipped my mind,"
"Then tell me, why are you're here?"
"I've come to see the prisoner, Portgas D Ace,"
"WHAT!" Hannyabal yelled from the background. With the upcoming war, she thought it wouldn't be a surprise for Ace to get a few visitors.

"I couldn't help but be curious about the person who will start this war," Though it was a lot more than that, she cared for the man in this prison. Though she would never tell this to the warden of Impel Down.

Magellan couldn't help but sigh, yet in slight understanding, "Fine, we have to take precautions though if you don't mind," In the background, Hannyabal added "It's not like she doesn't know it,"

"That's fine by me,"

And so they walked down the platforms in almost silence, if it wasn't for Hannyabals mumblings and outbursts about wanting to be warden.
