Chained up and bruised was not the best position to be put in for a pirate for a "criminal" such as himself. This is why when he gets a visitor he can't help but be suspicious, and when he sees Beatrix walk out with the warden, vice warden, and head jailer, it would be wrong to say he wasn't surprised.
She approached his cell with a confident stride and said something over her shoulder to the others. As she got closer he could see that she was disheveled, was it because of him? He told her not to worry about him in Alabasta.
"What in ever-living fuck happened Ace?" There was exhaustion in her voice but the most prevalent was worry, she kept her voice down to not disturb other prisoners but also to keep their conversation between them
"I got captured, what else do you think?" I told her forwardly, raising my voice in slight anger at the situation that is at hand.
"I warned you about Blackbeard! I told you he was stronger than you," She clearly was getting irritated at his slight disregard of how he got there.
"Then why are you here to tell me your right? To shove it in my face?" "Will you keep it down you two," A voice came from his left, Jinbei.
"Jinbei? What are you doing here?" Confusion bleeds into her voice, which doesn't make sense, she's supposed to know everything how come she didn't know he was here?
"You didn't know I was here?" Jinbei expresses what he was thinking. Her face becomes more neutral as she whispers so low that it's barely audible. "Ever since Blackbeard defeated Ace my power has been going crazy, I don't know how this is going to end,"
The gap of silence after that is enough to understand what that means
Update: Heyyyy this is like really short but think of it as me slowly getting back into the groove of writing. Mental health is a bitch and so is school, specifically physics and math. Thank you everyone for being patient IDK when I'm going to update next but I do hope it'll be soon!
