Chapter 25- I've always liked you

Hawk parks outside of the dojo. I said I didn't want to come back here. I mumble to Hawk. "There's a surprise!" Hawk shouts while opening the car door. He opens my side of the car door and helps me down. Thanks. I whisper. Hawk opens the front door. He grabs my hand and we sprint to the back room. Where are we goi-. I get interrupted by the surprise. "Hello, Cobra's." I hear Sensei Kreece mumble. He smirks at us. "Come join us." He points to all the other cobra's. My jaw drops. I look at Hawk and walk slowly towards Sensei Kreece. "Let's begin!"Sensei shouts.

"Hai-Kyu, Hai-Kyu!" We all continuously chant. We punch the air repeatedly. "Hi-yah, Hi-yah!" "Class!" Sensei shouts. We all stop punching the air. Sensi slowly crosses his arms. "We have a visitor," Sensi announces with a smirk. We all turn around facing Johnny. "The hell you think you're doing?" Johnny asks. "What does it look like? I'm teaching my students." Sensei replies. "Your students?" Johnny questions. "You let them down when they needed you the most. Somebody needed to remind them what it takes to win." Sensei answers. Johnny tries moving closer to Sensei. All us Cobra's block his path. Johnny scoffs. Remember that time you betrayed us? I mumble. "After everything, I did for you?" Johnny explains while staring at us all. I roll my eyes. "Miguel's in the hospital because of you. He showed mercy to Robby Keene because of you. If he dies...that's on you." Hawk answers with a quick reply. "I did warn you about this." Sensi steps closer to Johnny. "I told you not to show weakness." Sensi finishes. "Get out." Johnny mumbles. No, you! I shout at Johnny. You had a huge opportunity to apologize but you never did, because you're too much of a pussy to do so. I step closer to Johnny. "This is my dojo." Sensei Kreece explains to Johnny. Johnny squint's his eyes. "Oh, I forgot to tell you. When you were out of town, I had a little talk with the landlord." Sensei continues. Johnny tilts his head towards the ground. "It turns out he doesn't like you much. But you know the problem with those... handshake deals. There are no guarantees." Sensei quickly finishes. "You can't do this," Johnny replies in total disbelief. Sensei moves through all the Cobra's to get to Johnny. "Of course, I can." Sensi answers. "I founded Cobra Kai. It belongs to me. It always has... and it always will." Sensi holds onto his karate gi. "I will never let my students lose. Even if they have to learn the hard way. One day you'll thank me for this, Johnny." Johnny scoffs, he looks like he's holding back tears. Johnny looks at all of us. "This was a mistake." Johnny mumbles. "You want Cobra Kai? It's yours." Johnny continues to rant. He slowly walks away. I scoff. "Class... Forward strike." Sensi mumbles. We all turn back around and continue. "Aits!" "Hai-Kyu, Hai-Kyu, Hai-Kyu!" We all chant while we forward strike.

After that night, it's the morning of my driver's test. Hawk dropped me off. "Good luck, Princess," Hawk announces. I kiss his cheek. I wave to him while he leaves. I walk to the front door. I'm very anxious and scared to take my road test. While I walk through the door I walk into someone. Oh my God, I'm so sorry! I mumble while I help pick up their books. I look back up and I see Demetri. Demetri, I-i hi. I stutter while letting out. He tries to walk away. Wait! I shout. I tug the sleeve of his shirt. He turns to me. He sprints up to me and kisses me. His tongue enters my mouth. I quickly back up. What the hell! I shout while in disbelief. My eyes widen."I'm I-i I'm sorry." He mumbles. I-i was gonna apologize for what I did at the party. I reply. "Oh my God, I'm a total idiot," Demetri whispers to himself. No your not, I'm sorry for what I did. I got all tough stuff and I'm sorry, for all of it. I say while looking up at him. "It's okay, but I'm sorry for what I said about Hawk. I've always liked you, especially when you and Hawk started dating." Demetri answers. I hug him. Thanks for understanding. I say while patting his back. We friends? I ask. "Of course." He answers with a grin. Well, I gotta go take my test! I mumble. "Good luck, me too!" Demetri reasons. Good luck! I shout. We wave while we both go opposite directions.
