I can feel their breath on my ear

I can feel their breath on my ear
Their hands should be kept to themselves
But who's going to tell them that?

I can feel their breath on my ear
It's steady
But it's not comforting

I can feel their breath on my ear
Their heart is too slow to feel
Their body is too warm

I can feel their breath on my ear
It's cold compared to their hands
Holding mine with so much strength

I can feel their breath on my ear
They hug me
Not wanting to let me go

I can feel their breath on my ear
I can feel their kisses on my neck
I can hear their whispers

I can feel their breath on my ear
It's the last time they'll get to do anything
It's the last time they'll get to say good bye

I can feel their breath on my ear
I can feel their tears on my neck
I can feel their sorrow

This is the last time they can hug me
Last time they can kiss me
Last time they can hold me
Last time I can hear their words;

" please don't leave me...please don't leave me... please...I don't want to say goodbye...I want to hold you forever...so please, don't leave me"

I can feel their breath on my ear
Yet, I can't say anything

I can feel their breath on my ear
It's fading
Their warmth is cooling down little by little
Until

I can't feel their breath on my ear
I can't feel my own breath anymore

I can't feel the warmth that was there seconds before
I can't feel anything
