You started walking back home before feeling a hand on your shoulder. "Hey kid. Mind keeping Kazuha? It's just for a while. I should be back in a week or two, and the reason... He'll tell you later, I should go," Beidou ran off as you looked at her for a moment.

"Uhm alright. There's 3 bedrooms so I think it'll be fine," Kazuha stayed silent. It turned a little awkward and you started moving. You were thinking about stuff to do tomorrow as the sun was setting and making the sky a beautiful mix of colors once again.

"So uhm. Kazuha was it?" You asked after entering the house. He nodded. "I'll lead you to your room," you smiled. He followed you to the first bedroom on the left. "I hope this is good. If you need anything I'll be in the next room," you left the room.

"Huh, well that was awkward. I think I might have an idea for tomorrow," you sighed and went into your room. You plopped into bed without changing and immediately blacked out on the spot.

~Next morning~

"Y/n? Wake up," you heard a soft voice whisper in your ear. "Yes?" You turned around. "I think Kazuha's on something," Bennett's face looked concerned. You sat up and rubbed your eyes before speaking.

"What makes you think tha-" you get interrupted by something aggressive that sounded like a flute. You got up and went out leaving Bennett in the bed. You knocked on Kazuha's door before asking if you can enter.

You saw the door nob turn and reveal a smiling Kazuha. "Are you okay?" you giggled as he rapidly nodded. "What was that sound? It was pretty aggressive," he then pulled you into the room and threw you onto the bed before getting a chair.

Kazuha sat down and pulled out a smooth tree leaf. You nodded and said, "It's a leaf?" He shook his head and placed the leaf against his lips. Then a less aggressive sound came out. "That's cool!" Kazuha's eyes lit up.

"I thought the same thing! I couldn't do this just yesterday and suddenly I can today!" You giggled at his reactions and stood up to go make breakfast. It was really nothing special, just the usual.

Bennett and Kazuha soon came out of the rooms and awkwardly sat down at the table. "Why is the atmosphere so tense now? You're both boys, I think you should get along well," Bennett scratched his nape and looked down.

"Did I say something?" "No! It's good.. Everything's fine," he calmed down. You shrugged and placed the now finished food on the table and sat down. As the boys were chomping down on breakfast you decided to ask them something.

"I know a natural hot springs place. I found it once and no one was around. Except for a few cryo slimes. Would you like to go there? I thought it'd be a good place to kinda open up a bit and get a stronger... Bond? Relationship?" You struggled to explain.

"Sure," Kazuha said and Bennett just nodded. "Great! I'll gather everything we need so Kauzha can look around and Bennett, you can do what you want, I mean it's not like you don't know this place already," you chuckled.

You placed your plate in the sink and went to the storage room. You grabbed 3 towels made from silk flowers. You then went into your room and took a basket out of the cabinet. You walked out and stood at the door.?"

You yelled their names and soon they came and stood in front of you. "Are you two ready?" You excitedly asked. They both slowly nodded. Your face beamed with a bright smile and opened that door. You started walking with the basket in hand and the boys on either side of you.

Once you were in the harbor's outskirts you started going faster and being more aware of the vicious beasts. You walked past a few ruins and finally got to a rather big mountain. "We'll have to climb for this part. Anyone needs rest first?" You asked just in case.

They shook their heads and looked as hyped as they were back at home. "Alrighty then, but don't blame me if you get tired," you grabbed onto a ledge and started climbing. The boys were quick to act and caught up with your pace.

Soon enough you grabbed the last edge and felt grass. It was sure a while since you were here, so the grass grew taller. It was still really soft nonetheless. You then pulled yourself up with all of your strength and as soon as you placed your foot on the top, you let out a proud huff.

You fully stood up and helped the boys. "I asked if you needed a break, it's not my fault. But look!" You pointed to a steaming pool of water. It had rocks around it, the ones you placed last time.

There were rocks on the bottom as well. They were smooth enough to not hurt when you stepped on them. And the best part was the fact that there were no slimes. But instead, you saw a sleeping kitsune.

"Woah! I've never seen one!" You approached the fox as it stirred from its sleep. The kitsune stood up and went into a cave. "I heard that if there's a kitsune anywhere, there's an immortal nearby protecting the place," Kazuha said after the fox was gone.

"They're not harmful, they are meant to protect humans," "Yeah..." You said after Kazuha. You threw each of them a towel as they looked at your face in confusion. "Don't tell you've never been to hot springs," you tilted your head.

They looked at you and you sighed. "You're supposed to put the towel over your waist or body," you explained. They still looked confused. "I'll just show you. Wait a minute," you went behind the cave and came out with only the towel on, clothes in your hand.

Hi! I'm back, hope you enjoyed this. I'll make sure to continue from here in the next chapter. And please stay patient with me, I felt sick this month and school is starting in 2 days, which means I won't be able t update too often.
