Zhehan began his shooting as usual. It was a very important scene and Zhehan dedicated himself to it. Han watched over Zhehan making sure he was fine. He glanced back and forth between Zhehan and Simon, who was supposedly scheduled to shoot as well. He suspected something might have happened between Zhehan and Simon. Director Liu yelled through his microphone and the actors dispersed to take a break. Zhehan walked back to Han as well.
Han asked without beating around the bush, "Did something happen between you and Simon?" Zhehan stood beside Han wiping his sweat with a towel. It was a hot day and Zhehan was sweating more than usual. Zhehan looked confused since he could not understand what Han meant. Zhehan asked, "Why do you ask?" Han shrugged, "I don't know, I just had a hunch, did something happen?" Han inquired once more. Zhehan shook his head " Nothing...", but even Zhehan knew he was lying since the previous day a lot had happened, so perhaps this was the reason why Simon didn't show up yesterday.
The previous night ....
" I like you!" In an instant, Simon confessed, shocking both himself and Zhehan. It was almost as if he didn't know he was in love with Zhehan and only realized it through his confession. In response to the sudden confession, Zhehan took a few steps back to try to make sense of what had happened to him. He quickly realized Simon's confession had put him in a bind as to what to do next. When he could finally react back, Zhehan knew what he had to say.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think of you that way" Zhehan said, trying to leave the room even though it was his room. For now, he did not want to be in the same room as Simon. He held Zhehan's hand as he walked past him, then looked ahead and said, "I..." Simon was at a loss for words, but Zhehan shook Simon's hand away, "I think you should go." Zhehan was honest with what he felt about Simon and the truth was that he didn't feel anything for him. Simon stood speechless at Zhehan's response, but it wasn't his fault.
Simon nodded as he stepped out of the room quietly. He walked away from Zhehan without turning around or saying a word. Simon seemed heartbroken. Zhehan, who stood there watching Simon leave, felt guilty as though he had done something wrong. Zhehan slowly closed the door as Simon slowly disappeared from the line of sight.
Present ...
The break was about to end, so Zhehan rose out of his chair and began walking towards the set, when his gaze was drawn to Simon, who was also walking in his direction. Zhehan didn't seem to bother at first, but Simon gradually approached him and narrowed the gap between them. Simon gazed at Zhehan with a grin on his face. " Zhehan~" Simon called his name in a low tone, as Zhehan shuddered and his heart fluttered, Simon spoke his name in a low tone, making it appear as if it was the first time Simon had called his name. Simon smirked, but his innocent expression remained on his face.
"What...what are you looking for?" Zhehan blinked as he looked about, afraid that if Simon continued to stand so close to him, people would misunderstand them both. Zhehan tried to back up a little to extend the gap between them. Simon, however, was quick to catch Zhehan's movement and smirked, " Got you!" he shouted, grasping Zhehan's wrist as he dragged him closer to him. Zhehan had totally closed the space that had previously existed, as he was now completely engulfed by Simon's body.
"If you believe I'll leave you alone after my confession, you're incorrect; I was pursuing you even before my confession, and now that I've acknowledged my feelings..." Simon came in close to Zhehan's ears and whispered, "I'll keep chasing you with all my heart, be ready," causing Zhehan to blush like a tomato. Zhehan tried to push Simon away from him, but Simon didn't budge an inch.
