Chapter 11

" Zhehan ! The break was over Ten minutes ago, why aren't you coming yet, the entire cast and crew is waiting for you and you're here not even respecting that! " Zhehan was getting scolded for being late to get ready for the next shot. But the thing was his reason for getting late was was not being heard anyone " Director Liu, my lucky pendant is missing " He said looking sad, but Liu didn't want to hear it.

" You're late just because of a pendant?! Are we a joke to you?! " Liu was in peak of his anger and that's when Han stepped in to help Zhehan " Director Liu, I'm sorry to interrupt, but I'll ask sorry on behalf of Zhehan, you go to the set and I'll send Zhehan behind you " He said bowing in respect  Liu nodded his head and left. After Liu left Zhehan looked at Han with a sad expression " Han ~ The pedant that mom gave me is missing " He said almost chocking in tears.

Han smiled and patted his shoulder " Don't worry, I will find it for you, off you go to the set or else you'll be scolded by Liu once again " Zhehan held his hand " But... " Han looked at him " Don't worry with or without it, you have your mothers blessing, just believe on it and got to the set " Without any further words Zhehan walked out of his vanity van with a heavy heart. As soon as he left Han began searching for it.

Daikun and Simon were already in the set, the thoughts loosing his pendant was too much for Zhehan and now he had to continue acting with two of the most irritating people in the world. Zhehan rolled his eyes, as he stepped on the set. Liu saw Zhehan walk in and alerted everyone to be ready " Okay Crew! Set the camera and lights, we will began soon " Meanwhile Daikun laughed looking Zhehan and grinned at him " Look who finally decided to grace us with his presence " He said in a smocking tone as Zhehan pretended not to hear it.

" Okay Camera ready ! Lights ! Camera ! Action ! " commanded Director Liu, as the focus was upon both Zhehan and Daikun, the scene was of Jian and Shen meeting each other to discuss something for the case, Jian and Shen being Zhehan and Daikun's characters onscreen. Zhehan was waiting at the café setup, while the scene started with Daikun opening the café door and entering the place in a slow motion, intended to grab the viewers attention. As usual keeping his professional game face, Daikun was very elegant and very charming, even for Zhehan it seemed very interesting how Daikun could switch faces in matter of seconds. Daikun walked towards Zhehan smiled sitting opposite to him.

" How is senior Cheng doing ? " asked Shen in a playful manner, Jian laughed " Oh~ Shen, I asked you to stop calling me Senior Cheng, I maybe your senior but I'm also your friend " Shen laughed " I'm sorry Jian~ So what have you called me for ? " asked Shen leaning against the table, Jian sighed " Well you know I started to work undercover for Huan, I need another intel inside the company, to give me information and I need that someone to be trustable " Shen smiled " So I'm that candidate ? " Jian nodded his head laughing, Jian laughed " Yes, Yes you are, so are you willing to work with me ? " Shen nodded his head " okay ~ " 

Jian smiled ordering coffee for both and just then Huan passed by outside the café and Shen was the first to look at him " Jian ~ Isn't that Huan ? " he asked pointing to the man who had just crossed the café, Jian looked at the direction at which Shen pointed and nodded  his head " Yes he is ! " he further looked at Huan as he got inside the suspicious looking car, Jian got up " Shen you wait here I'll go look at what is going on " Shen held his hand as he was about to leave " I'll come with you ! " Jian nodded his head agreeing upon what Shen said. Both the men took their bikes carefully ready to follow Huan. But CEO Huan was fast to notice Jian stepping out the café.

" I guess it's a nice day to have coffee with friends, right Mr. Cheng ? " Huan asked taking his sunglasses away, but even before he could say words Zhehan felt a little dizzy, as he walked to step close to Simon, he tripped falling backwards and the side of the set upon which he fell broke making everyone stand up " CUT ! " Director Liu screamed, Zhehan was still dizzy as Simon helped him up, while Daikun just stood their pretending to be shocked. Liu was fuming with anger " WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ZHEHAN ! " Liu shouted at Zhehan, while he tried standing up. Zhehan looked apologetically at Liu " I'm... I'm sorry Director Liu " he said almost in tears as he looked around at people staring at him.

" SORRY ! SORRY ISN'T GOING TO CHANGE THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE DESTORYED SET ! " Liu said frustratingly throwing his hands in the air, Han had ran over beside Zhehan " I'm sorry sir, please don't be mad at him, Zhehan is not feeling well " Liu fumed in anger once again " Why are newbies even acting ?! " the words hit Zhehan hard as tears streamed down his cheeks, he stood there not knowing what to do and just then Simon stood beside Zhehan and before Liu could speak, Simon spoke this time " Liu, if you say newbies shouldn't act then we ourselves couldn't have acted as well ! And moreover, you are making us work too hard and Zhehan here being the' newbie ' works harder than anyone of us, you don't have any rights to take your anger on him " Liu sighed as he calmed down.

" Look Simon, I know I was wrong to shout at him, but look at what he did " he pointed towards the destroyed part of the set that Zhehan fell upon, Simon rolled his eyes " It's an outdoor set accidents are bound to happen in such a scorching heat " he said in an anger tone, Liu sighed " Fine ~ I'm sorry Zhehan, you can take rest for an hour and rest the crew as well, after an hour we will begin the shoot " Daikun who stood there looking at the argument bit his lips hard seeing Simon protect and argue for Zhehan, he walked off the set to his vanity van in an anger. And Zhehan was escorted back to his van along with Han and Simon, who had helped him stay still.

Han opened the van's door and Simon made Zhehan sit on the couch, Han sighed sitting beside Zhehan and Simon sat opposite to him " Why did you suddenly not feel good ? " Zhehan shook his head " I don't know " he said resting his head on his hand, he was very angry but mot importantly tired " I told you without my lucky pendant my day isn't good " Han patted Zhehan's shoulder as he yet was to find where Zhehan had lost his pendant, just then Simon noticed the bottle which was on the couch beside Zhehan as he saw Zhehan drinking water before the shoot, he took the bottle with a certain doubt on his mind.

Simon opened the bottle cap and smelled something weird and then it clicked him " Xiao Han! Who gave you this water ?! " Simon demanded, Zhehan looked up and shook his head " I don't know, it was given to me when I had my breakfast " Han looked at Simon curiously " Why? What happened ? " Simon gave him the bottle " Smell it ! " Han opened the cap and smelled the water as it did smell something different " Did ... Did someone ... " Simon nodded his head " I think so as well " Zhehan was still confused " Can someone tell me what's happening ? "  Zhehan demanded, to which Simon sighed " Someone drugged you " Zhehan's eyes froze in horror.
