Dadzawa rewrite!

Chapter 4

Aizawa's Pov:

Once I had gotten over the initial shock, I jumped onto the porch and pulled him into my chest.

Poor Todoroki was cold and limp and completely soaked through. My fatherly instinct kicked in and I shot a glance at Hitoshi.

"Toshi, I need you to get some towels now please! Meet me in the living room"

I gently scooped up the boy in my arms and carried him in from the rain. I noticed that he was trembling terribly and I grimaced.

I also took note of how he weighed almost nothing to me.. I knew I wouldn't struggle to carry him but it was startling.. He was much lighter than Hitoshi..

I switched the living room light on with my chin and layed him on the couch on the towels Toshi grabbed from the hall cupboard.

I didn't like the angry looking bruise on his cheekbone.. Or the way his lip was bleeding.

"Hitoshi..we need to get him undressed.. He'll get sick"

He shared a concerned look with me and I sighed.

"I can help but I'll need you to do some on your own if that's okay. I think he'd prefer you do it. You're his closest friend.."

Todoroki and Toshi had been great friends since Toshi moved into Class 1A. Since Hitoshi didn't talk and most didn't know how to sign, he was put in a difficult position..

But Todoroki noticed this and learnt how to sign for Hitoshi! It was the happiest I had seen my son for a while.. I was eternally grateful for this kind boy..

He had been to our house a few times to study with Hito but I was aware of how strict Endeavor was with curfew and what he did whilst visiting.

He wouldn't allow anything other than studying and he wasn't permitted to stay later than 7pm. We also weren't allowed to provide dinner which I thought was harsh..

We hadn't seen him for a week or so as we were nearly midway through the winter break so I was confused as to why he was here.. But that could wait.

For now we had to make sure he was warm, dry and safe..

Okay before you comment, I know there's a plot twist with Shinso's quirk here. I'm working on it at the moment so please forgive my stupidity🙏
