Chapter 11

~ two months later ~

I swung my fist out hitting Peter square in the jaw, he groaned stumbling backwards cupping his cheek, blood dripping through his fingers. I took the opportunity to kick him in his side when his focus was on his bleeding jaw. He caught my leg making my eyes widen at his reflexes. I knew about his Peter tingle that made all of his senses double, but at that moment I didn't think that far ahead. He twisted me over making me loose my balance, I groaned as my face hit the mats. Blood dripping from nose hitting the mat as I got up. I turned around placing my fists in front of my face, he did the same smirking as he saw the blood on the mats. He flew his fist out I dodged it with ease as I punched him in the nose, he groaned stumbling backwards. I took the opportunity to punch him in the neck cutting off his airflow for a few seconds. I crouched down and swung my leg under him catching his leg making him fall down. He groaned as his back made contact with the mats, I quickly straddled him pinning his arms above him making sure he can't move.

"Brilliant pin, your improving immensely" my dad applauded. I smirked as I looked back at Peter, his gaze already burning a hole through my head.

"Get the fuck off me" he spat. His words only making my smirk widen, I tightened my grip around his hands.

"The enemy won't so why should I?" I returned.

"Fine" he scoffed raising his foot kicking me in the ass flipping us over so he was straddling me. I groaned as my back hit the mat. His one hand pinning mine above my head, his other pinning my stomach down so I don't try to flip us over.

"Get off me" I growled. My words only helping his smirk grow.

"The enemy won't so why should I?" He mimicked my words from earlier. I scoffed rolling my eyes. I raised my knee kicking him in the crotch making him groan and roll off of me. I took the chance to wrap my knee around his neck cutting off his air flow. The one rule when training was to not kill the other, it got hard sometimes when Peter was acting like a dick. I looked down making sure that Peter was still alive. He was struggled under my knee trying to get his air flow back. I'm actually surprised he hasn't got out of my grasp yet considering his super strength. He slapped my leg twice signalling me to let him go. I took my leg off of his neck happily knowing that I had finally won. He quickly sat up gasping for air rubbing his neck slightly. I sat up jogging over to my dad a wide smile spread across my face. My father said that once I beat Peter in a fight, I will finally fight Natasha or Nat as everyone else calls her. Well today was that day, I finally beat Peter in a fight meaning that it's a step closer to becoming an avenger.

"That was an impressive fight y/n" my father nodded as I reached him. I heard Peter scoff from the background practically earring his eye roll.

"So.. Does it mean that I can fight Natasha?" I asked hopefully. He sighed shaking his head. My smile dripping slightly my heart beating out of my chest. I gulped knowing that his answer won't be the one I was hoping for. I've been waiting six months for this one moment to happen, the day I fight Natasha the day I finally become an avenger. That day won't happen anytime soon given his reaction.

"I just don't think your ready" he sighed. I scoffed shaking my head. I wasn't ready? I just took down a fucking super hero with powers and he still thought that I wasn't ready.

"Fine, but don't expect me to still be your little secret when you decide I will be" I choked rushing out of the room. Anger was the only thing I was feeling right now. He promised me that after I beat Peter in a fight, I would fight Natasha then once I beat Natasha I would become an avenger. He promised me I actually thought he would keep his word this time.

"Woah" my eyes widened as I bumped into an masculine figure. Shit, why do I keep running into people. I kept my head down not tempting to look up at the person burning a hole into my head.
