Bright light shined in through my windows surround me. I groaned slowly getting out of my deep sleep that I had been in seconds ago. I rolled over onto my back, my gaze glued to my ceiling as I thought about yesterday.
"I can't believe you" he scoffed crossing his arms over his chest. Neither could I.
"I said you weren't ready for a reason, I understand that you have progressed but your not ready to fight more then Peter" he nodded. Disappointment was the only thing in his eyes.
"I should have known better. Your too stubborn to understand the consequences you just caused" He spoke. My gaze glued to the floor I couldn't look up at my father, I couldn't handle how he was looking at me right now. The disappointment and disgust that filled his eyes haunting me.
"I'm sorry" I choked tears pricking me eyes. I should have known better I should have learned from last time. His face soften slightly, he tried catching my gaze but I wouldn't give it to him.
"Your meeting the team tomorrow, you clearly can't keep yourself a secret so whats the point in trying" he spoke leaving my room.
I sighed I should have known better then to just expose myself like that. Peter knowing was enough I didn't need the rest of the team to know too.
"Friday what time is it?" I asked going into a sitting position.
"It is 11:45 AM miss Stark" she projected. I sighed getting up, I should probably get ready I may meet the avengers soon and I need to look my best. I got up putting on some clothes before heading towards the elevator. I got into the elevator, pressing the kitchen button. You would think at 11:00 everyone would either be up and ready or going to have breakfast like me. The elevator doors opened to reveal the kitchen and my dad, he was positioned leaning over the countertop. He had a cup of coffee in his left hand a newspaper in his right. I walked into the kitchen catching his attention, he slowly turned his head to look at me. His eyes widened slightly placing down his cup and the newspaper. I walked over to my father sitting down on a stool on the kitchen island. I looked over at the couch to see Peter sitting there his focus on his iPhone. I scoffed grabbing and apple from the fruit bowl. After Peter and I's fight yesterday, I could tell that either Peter was embarrassed that I beat him after only six months of training or he was just being immature like he always is.
"So y/n, today is a big day for you" my father spoke. Peters eyes widened slightly as he turned his head to face me. Clearly he had just noticed my presence.
"Yeah, you would think wouldn't you" I chuckled nervously. Dont get me wrong I want to meet the team, but I had a lot of time to think about it last night and I decided that my dad was right I wasn't ready. There's nothing I can do about it now though.
"Does 2:40 work for you" he questioned raising his eyebrows. My eyes widened, I gulped harshly. Was I ready to meet them around 2:40 it was close to now, I only have three hours to prepare.
"Y-yeah 2:40 works for me" I stuttered. Peter rolled his eyes at my answer. Fucking asshole.
"Great, I'll have a meeting at 2:40 in the control room so be ready" he warned. I gulped, 2:40 I have plenty of time before then I'm ready, I have to be. I walked over to Peter on the couch taking a bite of my apple. He shifted his focus from his Phone to me. I returned his gaze pulling out my iPhone sitting across from him on the couch. Peter and I kept returning gazes every few minutes. It's moments like this I feel like he likes me back. He put this Phone into his pocket after awhile and just stared at the ceiling. I looked at him furrowing my eyebrows, what was he thinking about.
