Valentina pov

We were sitting in poison lab, my favorite class.

Don't ask.

I was sitting next to a guy named Jaden who always tried to get my attention but obviously I didn't give it to him.

Our table was next to the one Marcus and Billy were sharing, Billy was now wearing a cast because of what Viktor did in Hand-to-hand combat.

Jaden leaned over to me and was about to say something to me but I quickly hit him in the throat and he started coughing to try and catch his breath.

I saw Marcus laughing quietly from the side of my eye.

I guess he saw what happened.

I looked at him with a smirk and winked, he turned away but I still saw him blush.

"Prepare you poison, students", Mr Denke said,"-we will be killing these animals in 2 minutes".

The animals he was referring to were the rabbits in a cage in front of us, I didn't want to kill them, they are so cute but I didn't have much of a choice.

I pulled out my Posion 101 textbook and turned the pages to look for the right poison.

"Dude", I heard Billy whisper as he bumped Marcus trying to get his attention away from the rabbit on his table, "Dude, be rad, get Viktors attention for me".

Marcus looked at me as I motioned my head for him to do it.

He looked at Viktor who was looking at Petra, and asked,"Why?".

"For the good of common people", Billy replied while I smiled at the comment.

Billy then took the pipette used for the lab and encouraged Marcus to do it.

Marcus pushed his book forward and made it fall on the floor with a smack, the noise caused Viktor to jump and turn to the left while Petra calmly took his soda can and pushed it in Billy's direction.

He dropped a few drops of whatever mixture he made into the can and made Petra put it back while Marcus still had Viktors attention.

Viktor cursed Marcus and then turned back to his desk and Marcus looked at Billy strangely while Billy was laughing quietly yet hysterically, even I snorted a bit because I knew what was about to happen.

"Name one industrial poison ideal for making a statement", Mr Denke asked the class, obviously knowing what was going on in his class.

Viktor rose his hand confidently,
"Viktor-"

"Sodium cyanide", he said smugly, "-victim is dead in seconds".

I scoffed loudly from my seat causing everyone to look at me.

"Rose?", I looked at Mr Denke for a second before looking back at my poison and answering his previous question, "You want to make a statement? Strychnine leaves your victim contorted and convulsing for hours on end".

"Good, Rose", Mr Denke paused, "-and why do we want it known that this was not an accident?".

I knew the answer but looked towards Petra with a smirk and she looked at me with one of her own and answered for me in a monotone voice,"Poison delivers a clear message," she paused as Viktor picked up his soda can.

This is gonna be fun to watch.

"-no is safe from you...anywhere", we shared a smug look.

"Outstanding girls", Mr Denke praised.

I was focusing on my mixture when I felt someone breathing onto my neck, I realised it was Jaden, he was telling me something but I just ignored him as I notice Marcus seething in his seat and he watched Jaden.

Marcus pov

I was seething in my seat as I watch that asshole whisper something to her to try and get her attention.

She was ignored him and he was about to put his hand on her thigh.

I'm going to kill him.

Just as I was about to jump out of my seat to attack him, Viktor stood up abruptly, he obviously took a sip from his soda and whatever Billy used in it was working.

"Viktor sit down!" M Denke exclaimed, Viktors face was red and his hands were on his stomach as he said," I must use the lavatory".

Mr Denke was not having it at all and said," I said sit down!".

Slowly he lowered himself onto his chair and loud noises came from his pants.

Soon the class smelt like shit, actual shit and Valentina and I covered our noses and mouths while the others laughed.

Mr Denke reached for the can and smelled it, the smell of poison hitting his nose and he raised it in the air, "Learn from this shame, class".

"-Viktor invited this attack with his arrogance", he then walked in front of Viktor,"You", Viktor looked up with a hurt and embarrassed face.

"-always remember this".

Billy was hysterically laughing until he noticed Mr Denke in front of him,"And you", he looked up at Mr Denke in fear,"-get a mop".

I looked towards Valentina as she looked at me at the same time with a huge smile on her face, I smiled back at her trying to ignore the fact that my stomach was doing flips.
