Don't get into bed with your Min Yoongi.
Yoongis look adorable when they sleep.
But don't get swayed by that at all. This concept is specially designed to make you late for everything you do. So, this step requires a lot of willpower. So, Sorah suggests perhaps thinking of all those times when your Yoongi had chosen work over you. That will definitely help you resist that urge.
(But she won't ever tell you how she fails to do that herself— Yoongi looks too hot working on his music, who can get mad really?)
So once you have made your coffee, have summoned the inner Sophrosyne in you— you are good to proceed to the next step.
Love at first sight? Yoongi doesn't believe in that.
As far as the phrase goes, love, at first sight, is falling in love with ones' outer beauty and aura. Sorah was beautiful, with the little yoghurt splashed on her as well, hoodie strings dripping with the pink liquid— clumsy but beautiful. So real.
But he won't call it to love at first sight. It wasn't that.
It was that one feeling he had— even though he denied Jungkook of the expectation—that he would fall in love with her. Premonition of love.
He thinks of her whenever he comes across this phrase.
He thinks it is so contrasting to the idea of love at first sight and so much more enthralling as well. He didn't know whether the growing love in him would be reciprocated, or left unrequited— or the slow and gradual steps to something so new like love would be accompanied by her or not.
But he thinks if it's her, it's worth it.
He hates goodbyes— he should probably be kissing Sorah breathless, but oddly he finds himself thinking of that phrase. He isn't crying, he would never because it's his girl. He would never cry because that means it will make her too.
"It feels incomplete,"
But he's only a human. He can't help but miss her when he is looking outside the window, while they drive to a show. He can't help but think of her when he sees anything that is related to strawberries. He can't help but slip those words out when he's on a call with his girlfriend of eight months, late at night.
"We're incomplete," Sorah smiles, voice warm and quivering, "Without each other,"
Long distances tear people apart. Yoongi knows it and that's why he never wished to have someone in his life yet. He's supposed to be on tours for more than half of the year and he doesn't want Sorah to keep waiting for him, always.
"We're not complete," Sorah says, "But we don't have to be. Some equations work without addition as well,"
He knows that.
She's so warm when she says that and for the first time he hates how in love he feels with her. It makes him mad, he just wants to engulf her in his arms. He wants to hug her tight until she threatens him of letting her go or else she will not write his name on property papers on her deathbed.
Yoongi would have kissed her hard for talking about leaving him— he would never want that, even when things get bad.
Sorah missed him badly, whether she got three thousand subscribers this month or a few bad reviews on her blog. But what's the girl got to do? She supports him, never lets him know but Yoongi is Yoongi.
He knows.
It's not his sixth sense, it's just who Yoongi is. Someone who understands the other person like no one else does— he thinks differently.
Sorah misses waking up with him, the little surprises he gives her when he comes back from working a whole night— the comforting dip beside her in the mattress, a body intertwining hers, arms wrapping around her waist. The way her robes shy away from her shoulder and sunlight dips downward, encasing her skin in warmth.
How she wakes up to kisses being planted on her bare shoulder and a smile paints her lips.
She wriggles in his hold but her boyfriend tightens his hold around her— it makes her giggle and realises, once again, how much she missed him.
"No, come back to bed," he mumbles.
"Let me up," she says, trying to peel his arms from her, ignoring how he managed to show his displeasure without changing his expression.
"Five more minutes,"
"Nope, gotta go to three restaurants today. No shit about being cold in bed or Holly needing to be walked,"
"But it is cold when you are not here," he says, digging his chin deeper in her shoulder.
"Get a blanket,"
Yoongi sighs, "You hurt me,"
"No shit, you always make me late,"
It's such mornings that make her feel finally complete.
So on autumn mornings, when the familiar smell of home and comfort wrap around her, she knows it's all okay— he's here, with her—for her.
