7 Days Left Until The Ball

Ruby and Chip were on their way to Practice Hall. Ruby seemed like she couldn't stop thinking about last night, she was already mesmerized by the decorative surrounding at the Cha-Cha-Cha Arena. "Your highness, we're already here," Chip says as they stopped in front of Practice Hall. "Sorry, I was thinking about last night," Ruby apologized.

"Prince Seokjin isn't the only prince you should be thinking about," Chip says as they both enter the small building. Once entering inside, they find Prince Taehyung sitting in one of the chairs beside the piano, reading his book. "Good morning Prince Taehyung, do you need anything?" She asked the prince, grabbing his attention.

He puts down his book, rising up from his seat, and pushed back his glasses before opening his mouth to speak. "I already asked Jare's permission to take you somewhere more privately." The term 'privately' caught Ruby off guard. She gulped nervously and her thumbs began to fumble out of control.

"Alright, if Jare says yes then I should go with you," Ruby says, rubbing her chin as she understood his situation. "Perfect, follow me," he states as they both leave Practice Hall, walking their way to the forest area.

Ruby thought about what Prince Namjoon had told her before about Prince Taehyung being shy about dancing with her. Does it have something to do with it? Will he finally ask her to dance?

They walk past Tango Garden and Viennese Waltz Lake, arriving at the main entrance of the enchanted forest, Foxtrot Forest. "Ever since I arrived here, my butler told me about this forest that is quite similar to the forest in my home kingdom. During my stay here, I've come here plenty of times. I think it's perfect for me to finally reveal the truth."

Ruby was confused about some 'truth' he was going to reveal. Is he going to confess his love for her? There's so much going on in her head, she can't process everything that's happening.

"Remember when I told you about a magical forest in my kingdom and how I was able to pick up dancing by listening to the sounds the forest was making? Well, I have to admit, I've come here to practice my dance." Ruby had never thought about Prince Taehyung dancing here. She rarely comes here nor seen anyone come by here.

"The time I went to Practice Hall, I was so stubborn, I was a fool for not asking you to dance." She was right, Prince Taehyung probably took her here to practice dancing.

"Are you saying?..." She sees him grinning, a smile she never saw and for the first time, the question finally popped up. "Princess Ruby, may I have this dance?" Ruby obviously couldn't say no, taking his hand as her acceptance. He takes her to an open area where there's a lot of space for them to freely dance around.

Chip magically takes out a flute and softly blows into it. The flute's playing captivates the forest, allowing the wind to blow the leaves in the trees to match the rhythm of the music.

As always, she follows his lead and began dancing with every melody from the playing of the flute. Ruby never thought how much of a great dancer he was. His steps and his guidance were a perfect match and after a series of spinning, carrying Ruby in his arms, twirling around, not missing a step, they ended their dance, the two of them looking at each other in the eyes.

"I-I really didn't know you had so much potential in dancing," Ruby stutters as she takes a good look at him. For some odd reason, her heart couldn't help but began beating inside her chest. What is this feeling? Is she in love with him? Can the power of dancing bring two people together?

One look at Prince Taehyung could totally change her feelings for him. "You were the first girl I ever danced with," he says, standing face-to-face with her and held both of her hands. "I'm happy to be your first," she whispers. Prince Taehyung really had the urge to just kiss her, but he didn't want to ruin their moment.
