Kanata x Reader | New Friend

This was based on a true story I've experienced. Though I added some changes here and there, I still hope you enjoy it

"Everybody be quiet!! Settle down now."

All of us sat down on our respective seats and everyone's voice was above a whisper.

"Now. I wanted to introduce you to a new student. Come here!" She gestured towards the door with a welcoming smile,

Everyone was excited to see the new kid, including you. Although you were nervous because you overheard a rumors going around that they were a delinquent or something.

They entered the room, and to everyone's surprise it was a boy.
His uniform was ironed and his face had a soft look to it, he was pretty attractive

He approached our teacher and turned to us, he looked a little shy

"Ah..um..Hi! I'm Kanata..I hope we can be good friends.."

He spoke in broken English to which you mentally cooed at the sight and made a mental note to befriend him later

The teacher chuckled and patted his back
"Okay,, now everyone go ahead and introduce yourselves!"

⏱️ Timeskip 10 minutes ⏱️

It was now your turn and everybody looked at you while you were just doodling on your paper,

The awkward silence was broken when the teacher cleared her throat, which made you abruptly stand up causing everyone to laugh.

"Ah! Er.. aha sorry about that-
My name's Y/n, it's nice to meet you Kanata. I hope we can be good friends!"

You sat back down and returned to your doodling while your teacher sighed and turn to him.

"They're always like that, don't worry. Anyways, you can sit anywhere you like, go on!"

She said while pushing him towards you.

With a shadow now blocking your light you looked up surprised to see Kanata there smiling sheepishly at you

"Wha- uh, gomenasai!" He sprinted to the seat next to you in a hurry

You chuckled "It's okay!" He looked at you for a split second before quickly looking at his desk

You shook your head and finally began listening to what your teacher was saying.

⏱️ Lunch time ! ⏱️

You were walking towards the cafeteria when something crashed onto your back. You say up and rubbed your head to see what it was...KANATA!!?

He screamed in embarrassment and quickly rushed to his feet

"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry!! Here, let me help you.." he extended a hand towards you and patiently waited for you to take it. You gently took hold of it and he pulled you up and apologized once more while bowing

"Ah, it's okay really!! Come on, let's head to lunch now, shall we?" You smiled and took hold of his hand

"I'll let you meet my friends!" You said enthusiastically while this poor boy tried to catch up to your pace.

Once you two got to the table, you finally let go of his hand and sat down. To your surprise, he sat down next to you, which made you just a tad nervous.

You then introduced him to your small group of friends! He adored them and was so friendly.

While you guys were talking to each other, a group of girls who were 4 years younger than you approached the table giggling

You both turned to give each other a confused look but listened to what they had to say.

"Hi Kanata!" One of them said and giggled, to which they all did and ran away

You turned to face each other, one confused and the other concerned
A few moments passed when you guys bursted into a fit of laughter

You guys were hitting and bumping into each other

"WHAT THE FU--" you said only to get interrupted by Kanata's cute ass laugh which you laugh and your laugh made him laugh-
And it was just a cycle at this point

No one knew what you were laughing at

Your friends were looking at both of you with faces full of concern and one rushing to get you both water

Your best friends knew what was going on though, they gave each other a knowing look and laughed menacingly
