Ugh, I can't find the fucking artist. If any of you do, please inform me bruh, thanks 🗿

The salty, but gentle ocean breeze passed through every so often and the waves rocked the boat back and forth, acting as a makeshift cradle of some sort. Which caused you to try and blink the sleep away, but to no avail. You sighed, and snuggled closer to your blanket and looked out to the sea, enjoying the scenery that was being displayed right in front of your eyes. Tonight was awfully quiet, the only thing you heard were the sloshes of the waves crashing against the body of the boat and the soft wind blow against your shivering figure.

You tried to enjoy the silence for a little while, but, you eventually got bored and decided to quickly go down and maybe get a book or atleast something to entertain you and keep yourself from falling asleep.

Carefully climbing down the mast and dropping onto the deck, the sound of your shoes connecting with the hard wood floor echoed throughout the ship, making a shiver run down your spine. You looked around and observed your surroundings; it was unusual for the Sunny to be this quiet, Luffy wasn't somewhere yelling about seeing an island just a few meters ahead, only for it to be debris or trash or pestering someone to play with him. You laughed to yourself but quickly shook the thoughts of the raven-haired boy out of your head.

Now approaching the boy's room, you gently turned the knob and swung it open, wider than you anticipated, the cause being the harsh breeze shoving you into the room. You stumbled forward, causing some to stir in their sleep. Regaining your balance just a few seconds later, you sighed in relief and snuck into the room. Quickly grabbing your book, that resided on your bedside table and made your way out. You strode towards the door before hearing a gruff voice mumble something you couldn't quite catch. You whipped your head around and looked for the source; it being Luffy grumbling on about food and whatnot causing you to quietly giggle and make your way out the room. You got out almost as soon as you went in.

You climbed the mast and settled into a spot; draping the soft, fuzzy blanket around your shoulders and turning the lamp on which sat beside you, illuminating the book and the space around you. You opened the book and finally started reading.

A few moments had passed by, it was dead quiet until you heard a pair of sandals clacking underneath you, but thought nothing of it. You were probably hallucinating from the lack of sleep or something. The reassurance you have yourself quickly washed away as soon as you saw a pair of fingers grasp the edge of the mast, making you jump, clearly startled by the sudden appearance.

The source used the wooden railing to propel themselves to where you currently sat, balancing on the railing and giving you a cheeky smile. "Shishishishi, did I scare you, Y/N?" Your captain asked, before losing his balance and letting out a yelp. He grasped nothing but air as he struggled to keep himself from falling down causing you to swiftly lounge forward and grab his rubber body. You sighed, plopping his figure beside you while you sat down and gave him a glare. "Stupid, you scared me." You playfully punched his shoulder, making him chuckle. "What brings you up here anyway, aren't you supposed to be asleep?" He thought about it for a moment, cupping his chin. He seemed to be deep in thought. "Mm, well, yeah..but, I can't!" You laughed and placed your book down. Cracking the blanket open and inviting him into your arms. "Come, if you can't sleep, then sleep with me." You suggested, causing him to happily oblige. Giving you a big, dopey smile before lounging towards your figure, snaking his arms around your waist and making himself comfortable against your body as you wrapped your arms around his shoulders along with the blanket. He snuggled closer to your warm body and buried his face in the crook of your neck. "You're so warm.." he muttered to himself before quickly drifting off to sleep once more, to which you laughed at. You threaded your fingers through his silky, short hair and resumed reading your book.

• A few hours later •

You set your book down, bringing your hand up to your mouth to muffle your yawn. You saw the sun peeking it's head out and finally illuminating the sky yet again. Hues of pink, orange, violet and blue were dancing along the horizon. The sounds of birdsong echoing throughout the sea. Mornings were always so beautiful out in the sea, you could see so much more of it like that.

You opened the blanket to see a sleeping Luffy; his hair was still messy, and drool made it's way down his mouth and onto your shirt, forming a small, wet puddle. A soft, rosy red coated your cheeks as you stared at the boy who was peacefully snoring away on your chest. Snaking your arms around his neck and pulling him closer to your body, if that was even possible, you gently pecked his head and began drifting off into a deep sleep as well.

Bonus:

Nami and Usopp climbed up the mast, slightly curious as to what you were doing. It was already time for breakfast and you weren't there. You were always there to help out Sanji when he needed it; which made it a bit odd for them to walk into the kitchen and see Sanji quietly standing there alone. The pair peeked their heads out the wooden railing and stared at your sleeping figure.

"W.. Who's that?" Usopp pointed towards the head of black, spiky hair. A few seconds passed by before it finally dawned on him that you and Luffy fell asleep cuddling one another. The strawberry ginger and the curly-headed brunette had already known the little crush you had on their captain, so this just made it a whole lot better. They both bursted into a fit of giggles and were secretly coming up with a plan to set you both up. But it seems that they didn't even have to. They climbed down and quickly dashed towards somewhere private, the girls' room, to fawn over the blossoming relationship that was happening right before their eyes.

Note:

Sup, bitches I'm back.

Now, although this one is quite unfinished, seeing as I haven't even edited any of it yet, I'm kinda proud of how it turned out, no?

Well, I hope you guys have a lovely week,

Cya~
