Chapter 9

Third person POV

The next day CNCO got ready for their second day of classes. They headed to the Great hall With the golden trio for breakfast. They stopped as soon as they saw Draco walk up to them. When Draco walked up he started making fun of them.

Hermione pov

I was having a good day walking with my friends to the great hall until Malfoy came up to us. "Hey Pottah looks like you got more mudbloods in your house" Draco chuckled. I started to pull out my wand to hex him but Christopher stopped me. "Who do you think you're talking to blondie?" Joel said walking toward Draco.

Draco pov

As I am talking one of the members walks toward me. "Who do you think you're talking to blondie?" He said. I was surprised I didn't think one of them would stand up to me considering they are new. "Who do you think you are talking to me like that you filthy mudblood, you guys are obviously not purebloods like me." "Just because you are a pureblood doesn't mean you are better than us" he replied. "Are you looking for a fight?" I said knowingly he would say no. "Im just saying you're not the best wizard here" Joel said. "Who do you think is this filthy girl here?" I say looking at Hermione.

Zabdiel pov

I can't stand this boy. He always picks on everyone who isn't just like him. I listen to Draco and Joel fight back and forth it just felt like big empty threats. Then Draco says, "Who do you think is this fitly girl here?" I watch him as he looks at Hermione. That just made me mad. "Enough!" I said staring at Draco."Aw do you have a crush on this know-it-all mudblood?" "Shut up!" Make me" he said with an evil smile. "That's enough Malfoy!" Hermione shouted. "Leave us alone" Joel said. "Fine since he's scared", Draco replied looking at me. "Im not afraid of you." Draco looked me in the eye and said, "Then prove it, In one week we will have a duel to see who is a better wizard. If you win then I won't bug you guys for the rest of the year." he said. Hermione spoke "And if you win?" He had an evil smirk on his face "We will talk about that after I win." I was already so mad because of what he said about Hermione I wasn't thinking about all the things that could happen so agreed to his deal. "I'll do it!" "No!" Said Hermione "Don't do it" I told her already made up my mind.
"Deal" Draco said. We shook hands and Draco walked off

Hermione POV

I can feel that this is a really bad idea. "Zabdiel! You don't even know how good Draco is, How are you going to defeat him!" "I'm sorry guys I was just so mad and I wasn't thinking." He said "Well Its a good thing you have me then." "What do you mean?" he said. "Im going to teach you everything you need to know so you can defeat Draco."

Zabdiel Pov

I was so glad Hermione was here because I would be dead if she wasn't. "Thank you" I said to her, she just smiled at me. I look over and Richard is staring at me smirking "Que?" "Nada, solo el hecho de que tú y Hermione van a pasar mucho tiempo a solas juntos" he said smirking. "¡No es que se trate estrictamente de derrotar a Draco! "Sabes que siempre puedo saber cuando estás mintiendo" he said. I didn't know how to respond to that luckily Hermione interrupted. "Lets go we have a lot of work to do after class!" I thought to my self "is it possible for someone to still look cute even when they are mad?" "Hello? Zabdiel are you listening?" She said. I snap back to reality. "Yes I am lets go!"

(Translation: "What?" Nothing just the fact that you and Hermione are gonna have a lot of alone time" " It's not like that it's strictly about defeating Draco!" "You know, I can tell when you're lying")

Hermione pov

We went to the great hall and ate breakfast and then to all our classes and it was still early enough to teach Zabdiel. We met up at an empty classroom. "Hey Hermione!" A tall shadow stood in front of a window where the sun shined perfectly on him. He gave me butterflies I just hope I'll be able to concentrate around him. "Hey Zabdiel" I said with a smile. "Let's get started." Hours had past while we worked on spells and other things he could use to defeat Draco."Hey guys its getting late are you still working?" Richard said walking in. "Oh I didn't realize the time, I guess we will continue tomorrow." I said looking at Zabdiel. I said goodnight to both of them and went to my dormitory.

Zabdiel POV

I was kinda sad that we had to stop. I really enjoyed spending time with Hermione. "Ok I will see you tomorrow goodnight." "Goodnight Zabdiel, Goodnight Richard see you tomorrow"she said smiling. "Goodnight Hermione" said Richard smiling back. Was it bad that I wanted to stay with her and that I miss her? I thought to myself. I walked away with Richard "¿Ha pasado algo ahí?" He smirked. "Solo estudiando" I replied. "Mhm, bien, no tienes que decírmelo" Richard said. We got ready for bed with the rest of our friends and went to sleep.
