Kampilya Palace

Draupadi was playing with her little friends running here and there all over the palace. It was nearly three months she was born. These moments when she was in her own world with kids of maids, were really precious for her. They took her mind off from the impending Swayamvar. It was just mere months when her father announced that he was organizing a swayamvar for her.
At that time she didn't even know the meaning of it. Nor what marriage is. When her mother explained the importance of swayamvar and marriage life to her, her first question was 'Why not for Shikhandini jiji? She is even older then me.' And Shikhandini laughed and explained that her aim was different in this world.
Not understanding the complications of the world, she just understood that she needs a husband who can protect her, respect her and keep her safe from this world primarily. No matter who he is. And eventually they both can explore the journey of 'love' together. With her mother and elder sister she looked in bio-data of many potential grooms. But none were worthy of her interest.
And all this complications made her stressed and anxious. She was just beginning to understand how this world works. And the responsibility of becoming someone's wife was no less than thunderstorm for her. Seeing her like this her mother ordered some children of workers in the palace to play with her and keep her mind away for atleast some hours.
They were playing hide and seek in the palce hallways. It was Draupadi's turn to find her little friends who were hiding around the hallways. And suddenly a voice which was way too dramatic interrupted her
Voice : Kya dundhrahi ho vats? Kahi apni mati toh nahi kho di tumne?
( What are you finding child? Did you loose your brain somewhere?)
Came the dramatic deep voice exaggerating things. And listening to this Draupadi narrowed her eyes in a bit anger and turned around abruptly. Putting her hands on her waist and narrowing her eyes she looked at the man in front of her.
Lotus eyes, Asht ratnani body, Color as same as her, with serene smile and peacock feather on his crown looking mischievously at her.
Draupadi : How dare you to mock me? Do you know who I am? Leave it. Who are you anyways?
Voice : Hum trilok adhipathi hai balike.
(I am master of the three worlds child.)
He replied haughtily with a mischievous smirk. Draupadi smirked.
