Chapter 4- Nobody Home

Raya rushed Nammari down to the hospital. Raya had no idea what just happened, but she knew that Nammari needed help. Was it true, Raya thought, am I not real? Raya right now only had one thought in her mind, Nammari. Was she once in a wheelchair, am I really dead? Raya continually thought. Raya, Tuk Tuk and Nammari got to the hospital. Raya carried Nammari inside. 3 hours later- Raya had sat in silence for hours, but it felt like a lifetime. Raya was sitting with her Ba and Verena, Nammari's mother. Nammari was praying while holding a necklace. Benja was holding Raya's hand trying to keep Raya calm. Boun was right next to them hoping his friend was alright. The doctor came out of the room and shook is head. Raya screamed in agony, Benja hugged her daughter with all his might. Raya cried annoyingly loud into his chest, Benja tried to calm his daughter down, but it was no use, Raya just lost her wife, nothing was going to make her feel better. Verena dropped to her knees as well and cried her heart out. Morning Mist. Verena thought as she cried, my daughter is gone, and I never got to say goodbye. Raya continued to sob in her Ba's shoulder. Raya remembered the last thing she told Nammari, I want nothing to do with you. The thought of that being the last thing she told her wife made her more upset. "I didn't mean what I said dep la, " she said, "I love you!" Benja and Raya hugged for hours. Boun walked out of the room hanging his head down. He couldn't fight the tears and he started to sob. He just lost one of his best friends, he had never felt this sad before. Boun then looked up and saw something that confused him. It was, another Boun. Benja and Raya went back to heart, Raya was incredibly heartbroken, she and her Ba did not stop hugging for the entire ride home. Seeing Raya like this almost made him feel brokenhearted. Raya had not been without Nammari since they were kids, they were always together, but now, Raya had to let go. They got back to the palace and Raya ran up to her room where all her emotions were spilled out at once. Raya learned that Nammari had died of a heart attack, which is caused by extremely severe anxiety. And Raya knew what triggered it, their fight. "I KILLED HER!!!" Raya screamed. Benja ran into the room and hugged his daughter with all his might. "No, dewdrop why would you even think that." Benja said trying to calm her down. "We had a fight, and I told her I never wanted to see her again. " Benja looked shocked, in all their years together, they hardly fought. "What did she do?" Benja asked. Raya couldn't awnser. She was to bewildered. "I love you dewdrop, you know that, right." Benja said. Raya nodded her head as Benja broke the hug and went back to his duties. Raya laid on her bed and hugged her pillow tightly, "I'm sorry love." Raya said out loud. Raya knew she was the reason Nammari was dead, and she swore to never forgive herself.
