Chapter 10- Wish you were here.

Nammari shot up in a cold sweat. She was in Hearts guestrooms bed, she looked to her side and no one was there. She was sweating through her pajamas. Wait, it was all a dream? Nammari got out of bed but then she fell on the ground. Wait a minute Nammari thought. She saw her wheelchair right next to her bed. "Mom!!!" Nammari yelled. Cheif Verena ran into the room. She isn't dead, thank you!! She thought. Verena hugged her daughter tightly. "Morning Mist, are you okay?" She asked. "Where's Raya?" Nammari asked. "She's in the hospital, she's been shot."Verena said. Nammari realized what she last said to her mother if all of that was a dream. "You're going to stay away from her, from BOTH of us!!" "I'm so sorry mom" Nammari cried. "It's okay morning mist, I'm sorry to. " Verena said crying to. "Raya's dead isn't she." Nammari said while hoping that she was alive.  "No, I just got word that Raya is going to live, Nammari do you realize how lucky you are." Verena said still hugging her. Nammari gasped, it WAS all a dream. Nammari thought. Nammari broke the hug and crawled to her wheelchair. "I need to see her." Nammari said as she wheeled out. Nammari took a look at her mom, "I love you mom. " Nammari said. "I love you to." Verena said. Meanwhile... Raya was in the hospital wondering where Nammari was. Her Ba was right next to her. "What if she doesn't care?" Raya asked out of fear. "No dewdrop why would you say that, of course she cares for you. " Benja said looking at his daughter, he knew how lucky he was to be able to talk to her. "I'm sorry ba, it's just," Raya said but was interrupted. "DEP LA!!!!" Nammari yelled. She was wheeling like the wind to Raya's room. "Nammari!" Raya screamed in joy. Nammari came right up to Raya's side. Nammari hugged her so hard Raya's back almost cracked. They were both laughing in joy. Nammari realized that Raya's death was indeed, nothing but a horrible nightmare, there was no Wall. "I love you so much Raya, nothing will ever rip me from you. " Nammari said kissing Raya. "I love you more than that Nammari. " Raya said smiling. Then the doctor came into the room. "So the good news is is that Raya will pretty much be the same woman she's been for the past 18 years. "He said. " We don't need to worry about memory loss or anything like that. But the bad news is, the bullet hit her straight in the spine, meaning she is paralyzed. " Nammari looked at Raya, but Nammari started to realize that Raya already knew. "Well that's one more thing we have in common." Raya said smirking. Nammari then cried and hugged Raya, "I freaking love you!!!" She cried into Raya's chest. "Hey, it's okay dep la. " Raya said rubbing her back. "I love you to, more than anything and everything. "  Raya said giving Nammari a quick kiss. Then they broke the kiss. "I'll see you at heart, the doc wants me to stay the night. " Raya said. Nammari looked at her and said, "Nah." Nammari said as she jumped into bed with Raya. "You're stuck with me dep la. " Nammari said smiling. The girls embraced each other tightly. "Besides, there's something I want to ask you. "  Nammari said smiling, she felt around in her pocket to make sure, IT was still there. "Raya, you are the single greatest thing that ever happened to me, I love everything you are, you are faithful, kind, loving, and brave. 6 years ago, we met and I realized that you were the most beautiful person in the world. We could've had a strong, and beautiful childhood. But then I had to mess it all up." Nammari started to cry. "I ripped you away from your life, if I found you as stone I'd never forgive myself, I would not know what to do without you, my dep la. Yet, when I gave you no reason to trust me, yet, you did anyway, that was the moment I realized that we could rekindle our love. " Nammari said. Raya hugged Nammari with all her might, "it's okay dep la, I love you, I love, well, everything you are. You are one of the nicest, most caring people I've ever known. And brave, far braver than I could ever imagine. Yes, I was angry for a while, but now, I don't ever want you to think about what happened again. I don't want you to be dragged down by what happened. Please don't let it define you. I.Love.You. More than you could possibly understand. "
Nammari then smiled ear to ear, "oh, how could I possibly forget your smile ." Raya said while caressing Nammari's cheek. Nammari then took out a box. Benja, who was watching everything unfold, gasped. "Marri?" Raya asked. "Raya, you are the one person I could ever imagine spending the rest of my days with. So Raya, princess of Heart, dep la. Will you marry me?" Nammari asked opening the box revealing a beautiful jade ring. Raya gasped and started to cry ,"yes." Raya said. They kissed each other passionately, but then they heard clapping from outside the room. They both looked and saw Verena with tears of joy in her eyes. Boun and Sisu looked so happy as they laughed in joy, their two best friends were getting married . They both resumed their kiss as Benja and Verena looked at each other with pride, their two daughters had not only forgiven each other, they were about to be partners for life. "Umm." The doctor said, "I don't mean to ruin the moment, but Nammari really shouldn't cuddle with her, she might wreck the bandages." Nammari then got off the bed and back into her wheelchair, "sorry doc." She said. "No problem, congrats on the marriage by the way. " He said smiling. Nammari went to a visitor bed. And when everyone left, Nammari looked at Raya, "good night, strangely beautiful. " Nammari said smiling ear to ear. "I love you, more than anyone's ever loved. " Raya said as they both fell asleep. Raya went to sleep with a ring on her finger.
