Merlin and Y/n enters Camelot, Marlin had made Y/n held on to his sleeve as they traveled to make sure she won't get lost. As the arrived they were greeted by King Uther who was addressing a crowd from the balcony in the Square.
"Let this serve as a lesson to all." He declares looking down at the people "This man, Thomas James Collins, is adjudged guilty of conspiring to use enchantments and magic." At the word magic you and Merlin met eyes, a worried sigh leaving your lips "And, pursuant to the laws of Camelot, I, Uther Pendragon, have decreed that such practices are banned on penalty of death. I pride myself as a fair and just king, but for the crime of sorcery, there is but one sentence I can pass." Your jaw opened up in shock as Uther raises his arm, then lowers it as a signal to the executioner. Merlin moved quickly placing his hand over your eyes a Thomas Collins is beheaded. You can hear the audible gasp of the people, you whined, pulling Merlin's hand off and out of your face to see what happens next
"When I came to this land, this kingdom was mired in chaos, but with the people's help magic was driven from the realm." You narrowed your gaze to the King not liking the words that left his mouth "So I declare a festival to celebrate twenty years since the Great Dragon was captured and Camelot freed from the evil of sorcery. Let the celebrations begin."
"There is only one evil in this land, and it is not magic! It is you!" One woman angrily declares pointing at the king "With your hatred and your ignorance! You took my son! And I promise you, before these celebrations are over, you will share my tears. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a son for a son."
Uther glares at the woman "Seize her!" He commands
You and Merlin watch as her figure disappears
You let go of Merlin's sleeve to raise your head as if that will help you find the woman "I think she's planning to kill the Prince"
Merlin looked at you "Well, it doesn't seem to be our business now, does it?" He answers and places your hand back on his sleeve "Let's go"

Merlin and you enter the palace and addresses a guard, after you dragged him in that direction "Where would I find Gaius, the- the court physician?"
Guard points and you bowed in respect. Merlin tugs on your arm as he walks up the steps and knocks on the open door to the physician's quarters and peeks inside.
"Hello?" You called out and dragged Merlin inside "Hello Gaius?"
Gaius trips over backwards from the bookshelf stairs and the railing breaks. Merlin and I worked quickly, our eyes glowed, Merlin slows down time while I used magic to move a bed under Gaius before he hits the floor
"What did you just do?" he raises his voice at our doing
"Erm," Merlin began
"Tell me!" Gaius yells and walks towards making Merlin pull you to hide behind him
