'So, where are you going?'

Jimin's phone lit up with the message and he smiled on instant. 'No real plan yet, probably headed to Germany. In Belgium now, near Spa.'

He knew there was a lot of time difference between him and his boyfriend Do-Yun, seven hours. It must be late at night for him now, as it was afternoon for Jimin. He was in his tiny house, laying on the bed. It's raining pretty bad and he decided to stop at a truckstop for the night, paying a tiny fee. It was just for one night,

'what did you have for dinner?'

'Kimbap, mango version. Was kind of nice actually!' Do-Yun answered immediately, probably dying to talk to Jimin, as he couldn't text while driving.

'Sounds good! I'm having stale pasta.'

'can't wait till you come to Korea, our food is so much better :)' Do-Yun typed back, and Jimin knows he's smiling behind that screen, all cuddled up in blankets. Wouldn't be surprised if he forgot to take of his face mask, that happens a lot.

He basically wore the thing 24/7, along with his favourite black bucket hat. Jimin thought it was endearing and loved the guy for it.

Their relationship was a bit unusual, they hadn't met in real life yet. Having met the other online about seven months ago, they slowly fell in love with each other. It didn't matter that they hadn't seen each other yet, or that Jimin hadn't even seen Do-Yun's face fully. He knew the older was really shy and Korea is still a pretty homophobic country. He wasn't out to most of his friends either.

They talked mostly through text, though there were short calls sometimes, right before one of them went to bed after having a bad day. Do-Yun was shy to show his face, but Jimin felt really shy during phone calls. It's a balance.

'Are you going to sleep?' Jimin texted.

'Yeah, are you?'

'yeah, it's raining really bad and I don't wanna drive. Been here for three days and it's rained all three.'

'That sucks! Should go to a better place then! <3'

'I will! I spoke to a truckdriver and he said that Waxweiler in Germany is pretty cool, lots of nice hikes.' He sends, along with a photo he took this morning of a small blue flower. 'wanted to show you this, it looks so soft right??'

'That's cute, I love it! I'm gonna go, sleep well love!' It was already 1AM at Do-Yun's place.

'sleepwell<3' Jimin sends back, giddiness filling his chest. He always feels really warm when his boyfriend refers to him with that nickname.

He curls up in his own blanket, deciding he's going to write that diary entry tomorrow. He's too tired to write more than a few sentences. The pasta is finished and he decides he'll buy a pizza tomorrow. It's Saturday tomorrow, and he always gets something unhealthy for dinner at Saturday.

He listens to the rain ticking on the roof of the home. The sound is calming and makes him feel more relaxed. It's harsher than in a tent, but he won't have to worry about the tent breaking or having leaks.

After a bit he still can't sleep, so he turns on his belly and opens his laptop. Waxweiler is only an hour drive away, but he'll take one small break for groceries. Driving can get pretty tiring and it's boring when you're all on your own as well, especially the long drives.

The route brings him over a few big viaducts and bridges, spreading over deep valleys. It looks really cool and the truckdriver was right about the hiking tips; there were so many nice-looking spots.

Planning things out like this was fun, he could tell Do-Yun about it and it's just better in general to have a plan. And Do-Yun wants to know where he is, just in case. Jimin doesn't mind, understanding his worries.
