Yuxin walks closer to him as she bowed, "Good afternoon, sire." she said, her tone was so beautiful that it made him chuckle.
Not bowing back, he instead reach out his hand towards her. The corner of his lips moves upward, unknowingly.
She tilt her head wondering what he meant with his gesture and all, "sire?" she asked but instead he pulled her in, "The offer, take it." he whisper to her ear.
He then pull her to stand beside him even before Yuxin could give him a reply, "It's a deal then." he said to Jiangbin.
He then sign some documents that Yuxin never knew what inside of it, and she probably never will. But is it something new for her, the answer is obviously no. Living under the same roof with Jiangbin, its never a surprised anymore to be voiceless. The man is a living proof of patriarchy, the only one that could control him, his wife is long dead, now he is unstoppable.
They took off with her just like that, Jiangbin bid his goodbye as the horses took the carriage off from his land. Jiangbin even faked tears, a showoff when she deeply knew he feel the otherwise, happy and maybe even celebrating her leaving the house. But who is she kidding, she also feels a slight of happiness, at least for now she doesnt have to cope up with Jiangbin's brutality anymore. She was just hoping that this man that sits besides her now are less of an evil then her 'step' father.
She then took a peek at him, with his mask still on and his furry coat covering his whole body. Making him looking like a giant sitting besides her.

He notice her keeping her eyes on him, it indeed made his lips curved upwards.
"Enjoying what you see?" he shot a question and to his surprised she nod her head. "M-may i?" she asked. Not so sure what she meant, but he nods anyway.
She then raise her hand, he thought she wants to reveal the face of his behind those thick mask. But no, she instead, touches his fur coat.
"As i thought, this is a sheep fur, black and rare, but processed with care as if it is a wolf fur." she mumbles on her own and quickly stopped when she realize Kun had been looking at her all this time.
there were a moment of silence as he keep looking at her face.
"Or-"
"i might be wrong, i-" she stutter and quickly stop as her hand obediently placed on top of her own lap, like a kid worrying to be punished by their parents.
He chuckled as he took of his furry coat and gives it to her making her smile widely as she quickly examine the fur, how it is made and what composition are in it.
"Do you not have anymore question?" he asked, does this girl not afraid of him, why does he wants to be wedded with her. does she think he is a good man. does she wants to see his true face or why is his hair silver that makes him differ from other people. does she not care for any of this.
As her hand played with the fluffy texture of his coat, she looked at him, blinking a few times. "Yes, there is one."
A smile form in his face, just like he thought. She probably wonder about the things he had been thinking she would ask.
"Does it snow in Arthel?" she asked, making him choked over his own saliva. "Because this coat is so thick, is it really cold where you lived?" she continues.
"Lady, is that all?" he asked back hoping there's more that she would ask. But she nod making him sigh, all the things he had prepare to answer was all a waste.
"Its really cold in Arthel," he explained as she keeps playing with the fur of his coat. "Do you have the slightest curious like i dont know, maybe over my face?" he asked, and Yuxin replied with a smile.
"I thought its the tradition of Arthel, isn't it rude to asked for you to take it off?" she asked him back but he quickly shakes his head, "you may see it."
Kun quickly put the bind down making sure the carriage window are fully covered.
"Open it for me." he said as he looked at her. She blink a few times, but then she nod her head. Orders are orders, she lived by that rule all her life.
She then stand up in front of him, then she bent her body a little. She wrap her hand around his neck as she tried to untie the rope of his mask.
When she tried to remove the mask, the horses stops so suddenly that she loses her grip and quickly fall onto him. Making him immediately put his hand on her small back in order to secure her. She gasp as she thought she fell hard but as she opens her eyes she was with him, inches away from his now uncovered face. "Are you, okay?" he whispered and Yuxin nod.
Yuxin nod her head, "Ye-yeah, sorry.." she apologize. "So, are you trying to fulfill my needs now or?" he asked, their body are inches away from each other. He could feel her breath and so is she.
He moved closer as he pulled her body closer to him.
But suddenly a knock on the carriage door break them apart. "Boss, we gonna give the horses food before the long ride." one of his crew informed.
"Should we continue?" he asked referring to do all the stuff couples would do but she quickly response by shaking her head.
"As i thought." he said chuckling, knowing that she felt uncomfortable all this time. She quickly went back to her seat and obediently puts her hand on her lap, again. While Kun rest his hand on the side of the carriage, his sculpture like face focusing on her soon to be wife.
There was a moment of silence before he broke it off, "Fiancé" he said to her. "I needed a wife and now you are my fiancé." he continues and yuxin just nod her head.
"Take my offer and let's make a deal." he said now bending his body towards her.
This is the offer he was referring before, when he whisper it in her ear so Jiangbin not able to hear them.
"You help me and i promise not to do anything to you" he said again, and her face quickly lit up. How could she not be happy about it. This is, at the very least a good news for her.
"Help?" she asked him. Wondering what is it that he need from her.
"I needed you to be my wife to change my marital status. Its the old man's sole condition for me to be his successor." he replied but Yuxin raised her eyebrow a bit. wondering about something.
"What is it?" he asked her, noticing the strange look on her face.
"You pay my dad a big sum of money, when you can win some other girls heart out there. You can have normal love life, why choose this path?"
"Same as yours," he quickly replied. "Why do you chose to be married off? Why do you look so happy the moment we left your father's house?"
he paused for a moment.
"You desperately wants to get out from that crappy house, and this is your getaway ticket."
There were a moment of silence. He wasn't a 100% right, but he isnt wrong either. Yuxin wants to get out from Jiangbin's empire for so long, but her being married so sudden and to top it off being bought by some stranger she knows nothing off besides his name, Kun. She wasn't consented at all but hearing about the deal's he is offering right now, she maybe not a cursed child afterall.
Maybe this is what he meant when he whisper to her before infront of Jiangbin, maybe this is the offer she should agree upon.
Kun then come closer again as he speak so close to her ear, "Im your getaway ticket, and you are my getaway ticket." he said to her hoping she would always remembers what he just said.
Yuxin, for the first time smile ever so wide that it struck him for a moment. "It's a deal, then."
