Kun grab his coat and wrap it around Yuxin as he says, "Let's go." He then grab her hand firmly as they walk outside of the room. Fast but cautiously, they ride on Timmy again and leave the inn.
"Are bandits usually that persistent?" She ask. Kun raised one of his eyebrow, surprised that she ask that kind of question.
"Yeah." he lied.
In matter of facts, bandits aren't that persistent, not unless it is an assassin. But he couldn't tell her the truth. He dont want to surprised her more of this dark world in Xilanova that she has to face.
"What if they follow us?" she ask again as she look behind her, beside the dark woods she could also see a part of his face. "Don't look back, Too much movement will scared Timmy." he order and she quickly look to the front again.
In matter of fact he dont want her to worry anymore. So instead, he look back and see nothing following them in this dark woods.
"Then i kill them again." He answer her, so ruthlessly that it sends chill down her spine.
'What is he?' she asked to herself, wondering if he is used to murdering people.
"Shouldn't we asked them what they want first before.. killing them?" she asked and made him chuckle.
"Do you believe that man like them will give you a spare time to talk?" he asked, but before she answered he continue, "They wouldn't so never give them the chance," he paused as he leans. "Or they kill you straight away" he whisper and again it sends chill down her spine.
"Arthel.." she said but hesitant to continue. "Are we close?" she ask.
No, the answer is no. It still takes hours for them to arrive in Arthel but he didnt want her to worry more than this. "Why, are you tired? Should we stop by somewhere?" he asked, worried that he exhaust her.
She shake her head, "Your wound will open up again if we didn't stop soon.." She then look back to see his face, "You look pale.." she continues.
A smiled form faintly on his face, "Im fine."
Yuxin exhale cause she knew that was a lie, how can he be fine. The herbs isn't enough to heal him, she didn't even found any plant to create enough pain killers for him.
"Do you know that there's a tale that some witch lives in the woods?" she asked out of nowhere. "No." he replied as he ask Timmy to run faster with the rope he is holding.
"The tale says that some witch was abandoned from their place and decided to live in the woods scaring everyone that passes by.." she began to tell the story.
"And what is it that they do to scare people?" he asked. She gulp and lowering her voice, "Screaming, running really fast and hiding behind the bushes, jumpscaring people.."
Kun smirk and replied, "Are you sure its a witch? Or was it a wild bear or wolf, hunting its prey"
Yuxin shriek, "There's wild bear or wolf in the woods??!" she asked as she look back to his face. Taken a back he replied, "You mean you believe in witches that lives in the woods, but not wild animal that lives in the woods?"
She paused for a little before nodding her head, "You get a point there," she look back to the front, "I mean.. there were tales about witches but not wild bears or wolf.."
"Maybe," he replied, "Because no one survive wolf attacks in the woods, so they ain't able to tell those tale."
Yuxin was silent at first, "So how can i believe your words? Do you survive wolf attacks too??" she asked as she rubs Timmy's body and it neighing in happiness.
