Chapter Thirteen

-Zacky's POV-

It broke my heart, to hear Brandy's secert, but it didnt make me love her any less. She was my world and I knew, I was going to protect her for the rest of my life. I would never let anything bad happen like that to her again. I hated that she had to go threw it, specially alone.

"Do you think we will ever get out of here?" Brandy asked me.

I looked down at her and smiled, "We will, I swear."

"I dont wanna die." Cyn said looking back at us, then up at Brian.

She was scared. Scared for her life.

"Brian." I said pulling him by his shoulder. "Lets stop for a momment."

He looked down at Cyn, then Amber.

"We have been walking for what feels like an hour or so." Amber said slowly agreeing, "Its fine, just as long as we get out of her fast."

I sat Brandy down against the wall and Cyn sat next to her. I pulled Brian aside, alittle ways away from everyone.

"What is it?" He asked me.

I stuck my hands in my pockets and looked at the girls talking to each other. "They both are scared." I looked back at him, "Brandy doesnt show it, but I feel that she is."

He sighed, "I know. It worries me. Are we really going to find away out?"

I shurgged my shoulders, "I honestly, dont know. I dont even know how long we've been down here."

"I think this was a terrible mistake." He said with regret in his voice.

I nodded in agreement.

"Dude, I know, if we make it out of here, alive, I'm going to ask her." He told me serious, "No question about it."

"Really?" I asked, kind of shocked. I really didnt think he would ask her on this France trip.

He nodded his head, "I love her dude. I'm scared, but not because we wont make it ot of here. I'm scared, to loose her. Like something will happen to her, like it has Jake or Dakota." Fear filled his voice as he kept explaining to me how scared he was for Cyn.

"Dude, thats crazy, but I'm so proud you finally found your feelings." I told him.

He slightly smiled and pulled the ring out of his pocket, "I want to do it now, but what if we dont make it? It would have been for nothing."

I shook my head, "Dude, do it because you love her. Not for any other reason."

He smiled real big and rushed over to the girls.

I shook my head and walked up to Brandy as he pulled Cyn away.

"Where are they going?" She asked me.

I smiled and kissed her, "Hes going to ask her to marry him."

"Finally!" Brandy yelled.

I covered her mouth with my hand and laughed, "Quiet."

She rolled her eyes and slightly pushed me.

It got really quiet all of a sudden.

I looked down the tunnel and Brian was out of sight with Cyn. All you could see was his head light. But quickly, it vanished. Then, you hear a scream.

"Zacky!" I heard Cyn yelled.

"Stay here." I told Brandy as I went after Cyn.

We I reached her, she was alone. Before I could ask where Brian was, she pointed down a side tunnel. I didnt question her, just went down it after him. The last thing I wanted was to loose my best friend.

I never ran so fast in my life and I ran even after when I spotted Brian being dragged my some thang. I didnt know what it was, but I didnt care. I had to get Brian.

"Fuck let me go!" Brian yelled trying to get away, but it was no use.

I leaped at Brian when I thought I was close enough and grabbed onto his legs. I dug my feet into the ground, refusing to move. I fought, pulling him my way, with whatever was holding him. I was not about to give up.

The creature screached as his pull on Brian, weakened.

I took the avange and risk, to let Brian go and attack the creature. I knocked it back and loose of Brian. It got scared and ran off.

I rushed back to Brian and he was bleeding.

Whatever that thing was, it had claws and dug them into Brian's shoulders to drag him away.

"God damn it hurts!" Brian yelled as I touched it.

I shook my head, afraid to touch him, but got over it. I helped him onto his feet and back to everyone else.

Cyn was still crying histarically and Brandy now, looked scared.

"What happened?!" Cyn freaked as soon as she saw the blood.

I sat Brian down to let him rest and explained to the what had happened.

It didnt take us long to figure out, we had to find the way out, now. As fast as we could. We did not want that thing coming back.
