Susanna's POV

I smile at the picture of Joey and I that had been posted on instagram. We had been singing together and you could tell we had no idea a photo was being taken. Our eyes were just locked on each other. I sighed. I really love my life here. And if I really admitted it to my self I also love Jo....

Wait... what's that. The photo has some comments, some are nice. But a few hint at disgust.

I shake my head. It's nothing to worry about. A few hours later I have different thoughts. All my social media inboxes have been bombarded with hate mail.

I open the first email and it reads,

You are kidding yourself. Joey would never actually want to date someone like you. I (and other fans) believe you are just using him as a publicity stunt. Stay away from my Joey, you country  trash.

Conveniently on their part that person had a fake account. But that wasn't all.

What does Joey see in you. I mean you might be decent if you tried contacts and did something with that mess you call hair, but he could have such better girls than you.

And another...

Is that your real voice or did  the guys record a dying cat to make you sound better.

I can't take anymore of those. I make a drastic move and delete all my social media accounts. And even when Lynn and Lyric come knock at my bedroom door, I just stay in the dark and secluded darkness. Hiding, hoping and praying to forget.
