Oliver's POV
Journey to Solaris
As a child, I love hearing the ancient mythological tales, deep down, I knew those tales were true. I had several reasons to believe the gods, Helios, Hyperion, Eos, Iris, Thanatos, and others existed. I believed my father stories were true, but when he told me his secret yesterday, everything made it clear.
We set on foot to Solaris, a mythical city, concealed in the folds of reality, a place where children of Helios had lived for centuries, honing the powers of light and the sun. Sun children were not just descendants of gods, but beings who carried the essence of the sun itself—powerful, radiant, and bound to protect the balance between light and darkness.
"Are we there yet?" Todd asked, sounding exhausted on the hike up the mountain. This mountain is dangerous for regular mortals to climb, which no muggle dares to hike. Luckily, my father knows the easy route to access the top.
"Quickly, before the sunrises," my father rushed us, the sky above them shimmered in hues of gold and orange, not quite day, not quite night. Todd and I had to rapidly climb high into the mountain, where the sun seemed to never set.
Just as the last rays of twilight began to fade, we all reached the edge of a breathtaking cliff, my father lifted up a large golden coin in the air. A large ray of sunlight hit us covering the top of the mountain, hardly to see pass it. But it lasted a moment, for our ride arrive.
"Blimey!" Todd was amazed as I was at the sight. A large golden chariot appeared along with four flying-horses that pulled it. "Uh! Honey, please tell me you can drive this thing?" My mother sounded unsure about this.
"We get to ride the chariot!" Literally, this is best day ever! I get to ride a golden chariot. WOAH! Todd and I quickly got on, as my father had to reassure my mother about our mode of transportation. "Trust me, honey! After various attempts, I finally got my license," My father took out a golden seal of approval.
"Blimey! You have a driver's license!" Todd grabbed the seal of approval. My mother got on, despite her feelings to this idea.
"All hands and feet must be inside the chariot at all times. In case, you do fall...," the horses began to pull before my father could finish. We never got to know what we should do in a falling emergency.
The horses pulled the chariot up in the warm sun rising sky, as they rushed straight over the sun.
"WOHO!!!"

Y/n POV
Monster Island
This morning, I spotted the Grand Guignol cleaning some statues in one of the rooms" Didn't know you were big fan of Gorgon's statues," I walked in seeing all-kinds of human-like statues. All statues had an emotional frighten expression, especially the woman who appeared to be screaming on her final moments of death.
"Medusas does magnificent works of art, high-valued each of her pieces," The Grand Guignol praised the collection. "Too bad, I killed her. She wanted to make me part of her collection. I cut her head off," I remembered my counter with the Gorgon monster.
"I would have purchased her finest collection," He looked at me. "I bet you would have offered a higher price for me," I imagine myself turned to stone, and sold by the highest bidder. He nodded," I would have placed you next to my throne, as you watch how I take over your world," He smirked.
My eyes wandered to a statue at the far center of the room, stood a tall, woman dressed in black. Crafted from smooth, black marble, her form exuded an eerie, otherworldly elegance. Cloaked in flowing robes that seemed to ripple like the night sky, her face was both serene and mysterious, with eyes like pools of starlit void—deep and unfathomable. I read the carved letters of her foot, Nyx, the Goddess of Darkness and Mother of Monster
