When I pushed open the iron doors, "D1 is back!"Heads turned. A few hunters clapped, others grinned.
"The one who faced Baba Yaga and lived," someone called.
"Didn't just live — won!" another added.
Björn barked a laugh from the other end of the table. "Politely? You blew up half the forest!"
I smirked. "She started it."
The laughter only got louder. Even the old commander passing by grinned under his beard.
Before I could slip away, a familiar voice rang from the stairwell.
