The Heart's Content {poems}

He found me

I've never seen eyes brighter than his,
Never fit in someone else's arms like how I did in his,
Never held a hand that completely covers my own,
Never stood behind someone and completely disappeared,
Never had a first date until him.

Never got introduced to anyone's mother except his,
Never witnessed two black and white birds that match our Ying Yang necklaces fly above my head, until I was holding his hand

I've never been to a real gym, until he invited me to his family's.
Never hugged someone so tall that even when I'm on my tippy toes I can't reach past his shoulders,
I never even knew my height until he measured it .
He stands at beautiful stance and height of 6 foot 3, while I stand at my midget height of 5 foot 3.
That's huge, he is my giant .
My huge teddy bear.

I feel like I'm falling ,
Far too fast and I don't want to stop
I've never taken pictures while in someone else's arms except his,
You could say the missing part is the kiss...which will happen at the right time,
But it's not even rushed out of me.
I'm free to say yes and no.

When I slip up, and say something bad about myself,
I'm reassured that I'm perfect.
I've never been told those words before.

An unexpected match we are,
A highschool student(boy) and a varsity student(girl),
One 1 hour of awkwardness ,
Then a few more hours of smiles, a great walk, perfect embrace and the best hours of my life.
Our very own
little memory tugging at my heart strings every hour of the day .
Our very first date.

Saying I can't wait for us to grow would be a lie,
Because I finally entered a relationship in which I promised myself to give my outmost effort.
To open this tiny, imperfect heart of mine and to simply feel.

This time, this Aquarius met her Libra
And she couldn't be happier.
Most of all , he found her.
He approached her, and he doesn't hide her.
He shows her to the world.
And they will make it work.
