Chapter 8: Class 1-B Part 2: The Experiment

Tsunotori's POV

As I woke up I noticed a few webs on me that had me pushed closer to the cocoon than I originally was.

I didn't think much of it seeing that they seemed to retract into the cocoon after I woke up.

*Yawn* "Good morning Midoriya." I say tiredly as I get dressed and walk out the door.

*Sniff Sniff* 'Is that pancakes?' I thought to myself as I walk down the stairs into the kitchen.

In the kitchen I see a short green haired woman in a maid outfit making breakfast.

'Probably another pirk of UA.' I thought to myself as I take a seat and wait for my other classmates and breakfast.

Komori's POV

I start to get up do to the smell of pancakes and baicken. After getting dressed I open my door to see the other girls opening their doors.

I then see Shiozaki going to Tsunotori's room and open the door. She then grabs something with her vines.

It was the cocoon she started adding thorns to her vines causing the cocoon to harden and roll.

She takes it to the ramp that was installed two days ago and uses her vines to slow it as she rolls it down.

I just walk down the stairs and go to the kitchen with the others. But as I watched Shiozaki I got an idea.

After lunch I told Kendo my idea so she could word it better. She then texted our teacher Vlad Sensai, Samint Toss, and Mr. Aizawa for supervision and in case anything went wrong.

She then texted Class 1-A's president (Yaoyorozu Momo) of what is going on and wants them to help.

As we go to the training facility with Shiozaki rolling the cocoon behind us.

We run into class 1-A who we are doing this experiment with as we walk turns the facility we see the three teachers standing at the doors waiting for us.

As we all get settled down so Kendo can tail everyone what my idea was in her own words so I don't mess it up.

"Okay everyone please settle down." Kendo says as she gets ready to explain.

"Today we will like everyone with an emitter class quirk that isn't Bokugo or Monoma do to use already knowing what the results are when they try or have used there quirk on the cocoon." Kendo explains as some class 1-A students started to raise their hands.

"Yes Kaminari?" Kendo asked. "What exactly happened to Monoma when he used his quirk?" Kamakiri asked.

"He turned into a cocoon like Midoriya is right now." Kendo said causing some of the class 1-A students to chuckle, giggle, snicker, and laugh.

"Okay first on our list is Aoyama. Would you please come up and use your quirk." Kendo said as Aoyama walked up.

Once he was where he wanted to be he says, "get ready to sparkle!" As he releases his navle laser.

The cocoon hardened causing the laser to reflect back only thanks to Samint Toss and the wall he created was everyone safe.

After Samint Toss removed the wall. Kendo finished writing and says "Okay Tokoyami your up."

"I'm sorry but dark shadow won't come out when he's around the cocoon for some reason and he hasn't given me a proper explanation as to why." Tokoyami says.

"Okay then." Kendo says writing something down. "Okay since every other emitter quirk is similar I'm going to take it that there will be three more tests today and then you all can go back to your free time." Kendo says.

"Komori, Jiro, and Mr. Aizawa. You will be the final tests." Kendo says as Jiro walks up to the cocoon to emit sounds from a speaker she was carrying with her ear phone jacks.

The cocoon hardens. Then she tries listening to it. "I hear a heart beat, he's breathing, somethings growling." Jiro says as she pulls away.

"Okay thank you Jiro." Kendo says as she writes it down. "Okay Komori your turn." She said as she finished writing.

I walk up to the cocoon as emit some spors for common safe to eat mushrooms.

As they grow they began to sink into the cocoon. "Jiro can come here I would like to know what you hear." Kendo says as Jiro rushes over with her ear jacks at the ready.

"Okay I hear smacking noises like he's eating." Jiro says confused. "Can someone go get other foods let's see what happens and get a water bottle too." Kendo says intrigued as to what's happening.

Iida volunteers to go as he runs to the 1-A dorm house. After a few minute he comes back with a couple cold waters, snacks, and heated up leftovers from last night.

We put the water bottle on it first to see the threads moving out of the way making a hole for the water bottle to fall through before quickly closing.

Kaminari being giddy as a child grabs the leftovers in the container and put it on the only for it remain sitting.

"Aw I wanted to see it disappear too." Kamakiri said as he takes the leftovers off and goes somewhere sits down and eats it.

Mina opens a bag of jerky and places a couple peaceses all over the top of the cocoon for them to sink like the mushrooms.

"Maybe he only takes small foods and drinks." Ashido suggests as she eats the rest of the jerky.

"That's a good point Ashido." Kendo says as Siro places some sushi on it. "Okay, okay you all can finish feeding Midoriya after Mr. Aizawa uses his quirk on his cocoon." Kendo says only to not see him.

She looks down to see him laying in his sleeping bag next to the cocoon look oddly similar to the cocoon just less round.

*Sigh* "Mr. Aizawa please wake up. This is the last test then you can go and sleep." Kendo says as Mr. Aizawa gets up sluggishly.

*Yawn* "This is the last thing I'm doing today so if you bother me after this then detention for who ever wakes me." Mr. Aizawa says as everyone backs up.

As Mr. Aizawa was able to achieve his quirk the cocoon sprouted dozens of large webs making a wall between it and Mr. Aizawa before he could cancel it.

"What the hell!?" Everyone of us shout as Kendo started writing and muttering causing Bokugo to gain a tick mark getting angry and annoyed do to it reminding him of the nerd in the cocoon.

"The cocoon might be protecting itself, protecting Midoriya, or both." Kindo says as she finished writing everything down.

"Okay everyone you can go back to your dorms or what ever you were doing." Kendo says as Shiozaki begins rolling the cocoon back to there dorms.

After getting to the dorms we noticed that it was getting late. "I'll watch the cocoon for tonight." Shiozaki said as she rolled the cocoon to her room.

Shiozaki's POV

As I get ready for bed I do my nightly prayer and cuddle with the soft and worm cocoon.

"Good night Midoriya, I'll pray that you get out soon." I say as I fall into sleep.

Glad to see all you wonderful people here again. See you soon I hope.
