Chapter 17: The Next Day (Start of Training Ark part: 2)

Momo's POV

As I get up I feel more weight on my chest than I usually have. I look down to see Izuku still asleep with his head buried in my chest still holding onto me.

'At least I know it wasn't a dream.' I thought to myself as I try to get up without waking the green-bean.

I managed to get out from under him and now all I need to do is unwrap his tail.

I tried to do it gently but it was surprisingly strong for its size so I had to add a bit of force as I pulled it off of me.

After getting his tail off of me I laid it next to him and went to take a shower. After my shower I went back to my room to see Izuku was gone, a few more cupcakes missing, and a note on my bed.

The note read the following:

Dear Momo

Thank you Momo? Right I hope I got the name right because my mind is fuzzy right now and there's no way I can spell out your last name, anyways I'm getting off topic.

What I'm trying to say is thank you for letting me sleep in your bed last night I don't really remember the last time I had that good of a sleep, but I have to go as to not be found by anyone. I don't know what's happening to me, but you saw what I look like and what I have to do to eat.

I'm just scared of what the others might of me now, but Anyways I hope to see again when I'm back to normal.

Love Izuku (I think that's my name...)

I giggle a little as I read it and felt a mixture of happiness and sadness after I finished reading his note. Well more sad than glad.

I was happy knowing I'll see him again, sad knowing that I'll have to wait to see him again, and I was sad because of the information the note gave me. "Izuku lost his memory." I said to myself as the realization kicked in.

Mean While in the Principal's Office

Nezu's POV

I just woke up from the large drawer in my desk and decided to go into the vents to make me some morning tea.

I crawled through the vents and entered one of my vent rooms to find a cup of freshly made tea, a cupcake, and a note.

The note read the following:

Dear Mr. Nezu Cimera

I think that's what you are and what people call you, but I'm getting off topic. I've wrote this note to thank you for letting me live with in the vents for the time being and so I gifted you a cupcake that was gifted to me.

I also would like to stay hidden for as long as I can until I'm normal please.

P.S. leave a note here so I know your answer and why.

I smiled as I finished reading the note now knowing that Izuku is still himself, but might have slight memory loss. I was also surprised that he new what I am or at least what those scientists turned me into.

As I ate the cupcake, which was really good, 'must be the work of Mr. Sato' I thought as I took a sip of the tea. The tea was absolutely divine. As I ate my provided breakfast I started to look at the tablet with the motion sensors and a layout of the vents and ducts around, they aren't picking anything up making me wonder, 'either he's sleeping, watching me, or listening to me,' and it was this train of thought that got me thinking.
