Chapter 9: I've got you...

Y/N woke up from sleep and noticed Aoi cuddling her. She blushed as she slowly got out of bed and went to prepare breakfast. That is when she noticed that she had not bought groceries the previous day because of the rain.

She quickly put on a over coat on top of her pajamas and wrote a small note to Aoi telling her that she is gone to buy groceries to prepare the breakfast. She hurried to the door, took the key and her phone- just in case- and rushed out running to the store nearby.

As she was shopping the basic things she would need to prepare breakfast she suddenly shivered. It wasn't for the cold wind that was blowing outside.

But...it was of signalling that trouble was near. She tried to shrug it off. Y/N quickly started to put the things in the cart. She went to the counter and placed the food on the counter top. The cashier told her the amount and she paid. She started to run home.

Y/N thought;

Something isn't feeling right...I feel like I'll lose to someone..soon...

She took a turn and rushed through the gates outside and shuffled in her bag for her keys. Just as she was, a shadow crept behind her. She got the terrible smell of old blood. She wanted to puke. She clasped a hand to her mouth to stop herself as she looked back to see what it was.

Standing there, was a girl of her age with black hair tied in a pony. Her head was twitching in an insane manner. Her eyes were lifeless as she held the blood covered knife in one hand, ready to stab.

Aoi's POV

I woke up startled as I heard a scream, unmistakably...Y/N's...I jumped back off of the bed and rushed to go to the source of the blood. I broke the door after getting a strong smell of blood and hearing soft whimpers on the other side. Ayano was there stabbing MY Y/N.

I immidietly got triggered and got a hold of Ayano's throat. I slammed her down to the floor knocking her out in the process. I scooped Y/N up. She was stabbed in the shoulder. She whimpered as she clutched my shirt.

"It's alright...don't worry...I've got you..." I said, holding her close, rubbing the top of her hand with the pad of my thumb. I got my phone. First, I called the hospital and then Megami.

Within a small amount of time Megami reached Y/N's house and spotted Ayano at the doorstep. She used her foot to push the body to the side as she restrained her hands and legs. The ambulance also came up shortly. They took her in and told me to get on too because they thought THAT I AM HER GIRLFRIEND!!
