Chapter 19: Regret

I paced around my room feeling my heart beating faster. I was panicking and didn't know what to do...

I quickly grabbed my keys of the house, my phone and headed out. I needed to find some sort of tracing. First thing is first, I'm gonna ask help from the police. I aint letting this kidnapper get away. They're gonna pay for kidnapping Y/N.

Timeskip:

3rd POV

Aoi sat down onto her bed with her head in her hands in frustration. She was somehow feeling guilty about the kidnapping regretting the decision on leaving Y/N alone. She sighed deciding to call Megami.

After a while of trying to call her Megami still didn't pick up, "What the hell is up with her?..Ugh.."

She laid down onto her bed blocking the light of the room with her arm. She closed her eye thinking,  "Who could it possibly have been..? Is it a student from our school.....? Nah, can't be, I'm probably going crazy or some shit. "

She sat up looking at herself in the mirror.

" ...Or maybe they are in our school..."

She quickly dialed down Megami's number again as she quickly held it against her ear expecting her to pick up this time. Fortunately, she did.

"Hello?" Megami said in a very monotone voice.

"Finally! Y/N, it's Y/N!" Aoi said, words not getting to her.

"What happened to her?" Megami asked.

"She got kidnapped."

"What?!"

"Please. Just find a solution now. I don't know what to do. This is so..." Aoi groaned at the lose of words.

"Any idea who it is?" Megami asked, knowing the answer.

"No. "

"Shoot, ah, what should we do now?" Megami asked.

"I've thought about reporting it to the police but based on the missing reports filed before in Japan, I doubt they'll help much. " Aoi sighed, "Okay, so the plan is that we'll see who is absent tomorrow, or perhaps see who is acting out. I already have a suspect but I'm not so sure about it so I'm gonna just keep it to myself."

"Don't worry, Aoi, I'm sure we'll get her back soon. I'll install hidden cameras so you don't have to worry on checking all the students who act out than usual." Megami smiled on the other side of the phone.

"Oh my god, thank you so much, Megami, it really means a lot to me, " Aoi said, feeling a little lighter."

"Sweet to hear that from you," Megami said, laughing a little," Did Y/N disappearing cause you some malfunctions? You kinda sound like Toriyasu San-"

"Gosh..." Aoi stayed silent for a while, "Hey, I'm gonna hang up now. I think I need some time to myself. I'm just so, you know, like so exhausted. "

"Oh, no problem at all, Aoi, " Megami said, "Take as much time as you need. It is a mental toll on you as well, I must imagine. We'll get to her in a jiffy. Don't sweat. Goodnight. "

"Thank you so much, " Aoi smiled, tiredly, "You're really helpful and a great friend. Talk to ya later, goodnight. "

She cut the call threw her phone under the pillow falling asleep on that instant face down. She was definitely too tired to turn the lights of judging by the fact that she didn't even bother change either.

"Who ever the heck kidnapped her will regret it."
