Invisible bells rang over their heads as they rested in each other's arms, tired by the activities they had participated in the night before and partly their morning. They had sang songs of pleasure while everyone around them packed and readied themselves for their departure. Loud chatters had filled the haunting halls as everyone was too excited to contain their simple happiness as they all missed their boring lives and homes meanwhile Cordelia and Aaliyah were stuck in a ball of sadness, not even wanting to let go of each other.
They had avoided talking about their conclusion as none of it felt real, they were hoping someone would walk in and tell them that their stay had been extended although it was unlikely. The news had announced that everyone is ought to stay in their homes until there is some sort of permanent containment but there was an allowance for those who were quarantined, like Cordelia and Aaliyah. Transportation was put in place for those who were ought to leave while some would be staying as they had contacted the virus, including the chubby man that had annoyed Aaliyah during their flight. A few people had died but because Cordelia and Aaliyah were stuck in their little bubble, they hadn't even heard the horrid news.
The gloom energy that hovered over them was painful, perhaps slitting their throats would bring a much better feeling one that was better than the pain they were currently subdued to. Cordelia had been thinking about how horrid it was to separate from the girl, the thought formed a lump on her throat that she tried to swallow regardless of how huge it had gotten. She could feel her blood boil at the thought of solitude, one thing she always thought she admired.
Their naked bodies were entangled into each other like a perfect fit puzzle. Their breathing had slowed down while their eyes glistened with upcoming tears. This was not an easy thing to experience so they told themselves that they would hold on until someone dragged them out of their bed.
"You tire me Aaliyah" Cordelia said, breaking the silence that had been haunting her.
"How so?" the young girl knowingly smiled as she remembered how the older woman begged her to stop, not so long ago.
"My brittle bones cannot handle ten hour fornication" she joked.
"Oh please, you couldn't stop screaming my name and pulling me into your pussy" Aaliyah confidently said.
"When someone is that good with their tongue, you cannot resist" Cordelia nervously chuckled
"I am certain I will not tire you anymore as we are separating today" Aaliyah joked, not even realising that those very words would hurt the older woman. She had no intention of leaving her even though it was ought to happen.
"Don't say that" Cordelia snapped, both metaphorically and physically.
"It is the truth Delia" Aaliyah said, she had no intention of hurting Cordelia but perhaps it would be better if they dealt with this and leave on great terms.
"I do not care what it is!" she bitterly said, she was angry at the universe. She thought that it was making a mockery of her. It gave her the beautiful girl and now it was stripping her away from her.
"Relax Delia" Aaliyah calmly said.
"How am I expected to relax when I am about to lose you?" she asked, sadness being the main dancer on her face.
"I know that this is hard but it is what it is" Aaliyah informed the older woman, who then stood up and stared at the girl with disbelief written all over her face. Did she not care that they were about to lose each other? Cordelia pondered as she stared at the girl.
"I cannot fucking believe you!" Cordelia snarled.
"There is nothing we can do about this Delia" Aaliyah said. She was trying to be strong for both of them but it came off wrong to the older woman as she was projecting what she usually did to the women she had seduced. She felt like Aaliyah was taking away what she had taken from the women.
