Sunrise warmed my skin, with a frozen body lying beside me.

I was reminded of my evening. The ache in my body was not an unpleasant one, stretching out my legs only to realize I was still tangled up with Loki in the sheets. His soft breathing brought me comfort, I looked at him with a smile.

Then the memories of his pain flooded into my mind, he was forced to sit in silence until I remembered. Both of us were robbed of each other's presence. My anger was snuffed out once he shifted to look into my eyes. His dark hair is a mess, yet his smile is as dashing as ever.

"Good morning Darling, how did you sleep?" He asked with a sleepy smile, I found myself melting to his every word.

"Sleep?" I laughed, is that what you call what we did? His eyes twinkling with the same mischief before he flipped us over pinning me underneath him with my yelp, his lips meeting mine with a fiery passion. My body aching for him again, unfortunately, he lifted away. Cradling me into his arms, while he ran his palm across my cheek.

"This is the only way I chose to sleep from here on out, complete euphoria." He chuckled softly, his voice still gruff with the morning sun casting across our bodies. His eyes squinting at the opened blinds, I took advantage of his distraction to turn and bite his hand playfully. Loki's eyes flaming as he looked back at me, a sparkle of amusement while his smile twisted mischievously.

"Oh? Is that how we wish to start the mornings? I can oblige if my love wishes." He growled, pinning my hands above my head. I was sent into a fit of giggles as Loki playfully nibbled down my throat, wriggling until I had got myself from under him, rolling off the bed and running towards the opened door of the bathroom. Loki was quick, stepping in time with me scooping me into his arm just before I reached the door. Both of us laughing as we tumbled to the ground, my heart was full of happiness.

"Madam, Good morning. There is a meeting in the main hall, at your earliest convenience." Jarvis's voice rang through the room, stopping my laughter to be met with a pout.

Groaning, I stood up. Looking down at a frustrated Loki, which put a smile on my face. His brows furrowed and his lips pressed thinly was amusing to me, before he shot off the ground in a frustrated huff.

" I suppose it would be unwise just to take us away from here." He grumbled, smiling I wrapped my arms around his frame.

"Unwise, but not unwanted." I laughed, his smile returning at my comment.

"Alright, I guess we should clean up and go downstairs." I sighed walking into the bathroom, turning on the shower to full heat. I stood under the stream of heat letting my aching body relax under the pressure. Loki walked into the room without knocking, leaning against the vanity he stood and smiled.

"Stunning, but it appears you've missed a spot." His eyes sparkling with amusement. I rolled my eyes, before smirking.

"Unless you're going to clean me, then let me be Loki." I laughed, his smirk spreading as he walked closer to the shower.

"If it weren't for the heat, I would." He smirked, I realized that the heat would hurt him, so without thinking I reached over shutting the heat off completely. The shock of the freezing water was not why I shivered; it was the flash in his eyes that took me over.

Loki shot into the shower, his lips crushing against mine in an instant. Reaching up to hold around his neck, his kisses deepening while his arms snaked around my frame. He positioned us against the shower wall, lifting me off the ground. I gladly wrapped my legs around his frame, my body already purring to his touch.
