Immortalis [Book #1]

Chapter 3

Lucius has been calling me for the past few days now its hard to ignore the fact that you found you out your a hybrid teenager who vampires want to kill. I haven't even told my mother about the falling off the roof of a building thing or meeting this mysterious Lucius.

I ignore all of his calls to be like a normal teenager, for now at least. In the mirror I start to notice a tattoo on my hand appearing in the mirror it was a sun of waves. It was cool and frightening.

I try to hide my abilities for the better for me and the safety of my mother. A notification popped up on my phone it was a notification on facebook. H was back. Theres no pictures of him at all or a name rather than H. No friends added either. Who is H?

It was the day of Mya and Max's memorial. I wore a black dress and my sneakers. The two pictures of Mya and Max were large facing the audience. Everyone made their speech even Brooke.

"They were both good kids with their lives ahead of them if only they lived to this day."

Brooke and I were talking after the memorial service. "Its sad how they died ...I mean you're my best friend I'd be mortified if you ever died."

"I could never lose you too but can you give me a sec I need some air" I told her.

The guy who was facing the other way was listening to our conversation. I went out in the back of the school to clear my head. I turned on my phone 34 missed calls from the blocked number as in Lucius. After checking my phone I started to smell blood . I walked closer to the trail of blood by the dumpster.

"Oh my --" I say before the person looks up while having an afternoon snack."

It was one of the vampires who attacked me drinking coach Springers' blood. Then the other vampire who also attacked me came out the school building. The others came out when the "leader" showed up.

"Hello Elissa told you I would meet you again".he says.

Im really not in the mood who are you u I ask. The leader of the vampires say his name was Holland. He was the guy facebook stalking me.

"H". I said to my self. So you're the facebook stalker how convenient.

"Then you know what we came here to do Holland says".

"What happened to the fourth I asked."

Hollands vampire follower says he had to be cut out. I looked at him with a shocked face. "You should know you killed him" Oz states.

"Oz, dont worry dont need to be angry we could just take turns killing her"Holland explains."

I try to run away but they block me. My eyes turn into the electric blue color again when I get angry. No fangs come out tho. I bite one of the followers of Hollands. The rest of the vampires eyes turn red. Their fangs come out. Holland slaps me to the ground after I kicked his friend Oz's ass. The others held me back  while one opened my jaw. Shes not even fully developed Oz's friend Nick says. I'm going to enjoy killing you Holland says.

Afterwards I close my eyes and turn around. A wooden stick was impaled in Hollands chest. He turned around and say it was Lucius. I open my eyes and look towards them. Lucius runs closer to him and rips his heart out and crushes it right in front of me.  Lucius fights off the others while I fall on the floor. he bit one of them with his neck.

One of them escaped before being killed. Lucius snapped Oz's neck leaving him there. They had to leave before the two of them wake up and come after me. Lucius picked me up. Asking if I was okay. He hugged me telling me its okay but this is just the beginning if you want to live you have to be put somewhere safe so no one can hurt you but its going to take some lies and skills to fight. "Where?" I ask . He told me we needed to go now. I couldn't just leave without saying goodbye to my mom or my friends.
