I woke up at about 8:15 and threw my hair in a bun and brushed my teeth. I did light makeup and put on my glasses. I changed into some black tights and one of Matt's gray hoodies that was about mid thigh on me. I slipped on my white vans and went downstairs.

I forgot to mention that I got a new job at this really cute coffee shop down the street.

I fed the dogs and grabbed my car keys. I ran back upstairs and jumped on Matt who was still asleep.

"Baby, I gotta go" I said, he tiredly got up and walked me to the door. Hie gave me a big hug and kiss.

"Have a good day babe" he smiled and kissed me one moire time.

I got in the car and headed to work. I pulled up and got out and greeted Nancy at the door.

"Morning Nancy" I smiled

"Mornin' sweetie" she smiled back.

Nancy is this really sweet lady in her late 40s but she still knows how to party!

All the ladies that work here of a bit older than me but they are all sweet and adoring ladies that are fun to be around.

Today I would be working at the register.

I took care of a few customers & noticed it started to pour rain. since no one was coming in, I went to the back and started talking with Rosie.

"Hello?" I heard someone call.

"Oopsie" I said jumping from my seat and sprinting to the register.

Just as i was in front of the register I didn't notice the wet floor sign and almost slipped but caught my balance.

I notice this really attractive guy by the register. He was wearing some black joggers and a red hoodie. His black hair in a quiff and his bright blue starred into mine.

"Sorry about that. How can I help you?" I smiled showing my dimples.

"I'll take a iced latte & your number" he smiled, I looked up at him and smiled.

I lifted up my left hand and showed him the ring.

"Ohh, but you look like 17" he said.

"I am. It was an arranged marriage" I said, he nodded.

"But that doesn't mean we can't be friends" he smiled, I nodded.

I fixed up his drink and gave it to him, he put out his muscular arm and I wrote my number on it.

"It was nice meeting you.."

"Valerie"

"Valerie! Nice meeting you Valerie. I'm Dylan" he winked.

I worked for a few more hours till I started cleaning up. Everyone already left and today was my day to close up.

I cleaned the tables and counters and grabbed my stuff.

I locked the doors and walked to my car, the rain was still pouring and I quickly got in.

I set my stuff down on the passenger seat and that's when I started getting a call from Matt.

"Hello"

"Babe, are you on your way?"

"Yeah I just finished locking up. Why? Whats wrong?"

"I miss you"

"Aw babe I miss y-"

I got cut off by a bang on my window making me scream and hold my chest.
