I woke up early in the morning, it was 5:00am and everyone was still asleep. I took a quick shower and sat there thinking.

Did Matthew really kiss my cheek?

Why?

I got out and dried myself off, I walked to my closet vey carefully not to knock anything over or fall because Matthew was still sleeping and I don't want him to see me half naked.

I got undergarments, bra, and my high, low dress. It had a peach color at the bottom and it was white at the top and laced. The back of the dress was long and I loved it like that. I curled my hair and waterfall braided it, then I did my usual makeup. I put on my peach colored Celine dion sandals. Then looked in the mirror, I guess I look pretty good.

I looked at the time and it was 7:03, were supposed to be at school at 9:08 so I got plenty of time to do anything I want. I went downstairs and made a slice of toast. I ate then went to brush my teeth. I guess I could go for a morning skate.

I grabbed my penny board and grabbed my dog Blaze's leash. Blaze is a pitbull, he's gray and white. I hooked the leash on his collar and he was excited. We would usually do this almost everyday because of how much he loved it, but then high school started😑.

I slipped on some peach colored vans just so I could skate. I know what your thinking 'How can you skate in a dress?' Well I'm capable of it. I got on my board and Blaze began to run and pulled me along with him. I always thought that this was a fun exercise. I pushed the skateboard so I could, go a little faster.

While he was running and I was skating we ended up at the boardwalk along the beach. I took off my shoes and started to walk along the beach while Blaze ran around. There was no one around so I wouldn't get any complaints. I smiled and took in the beauty of the sunrise. Then I heard a honk behind me.

MATTHEW'S P.O.V

I woke up and looked at the time, 7:30. I rubbed my eyes and yawned, I got my phone and sent a snapchat. I looked to my side to see Valerie gone, wonder where she went.

I took a shower and changed into some khakis and my diamond tshirt. I did my hair the usual, then walked to the kitchen, I ate a bowl of cereal and brushed my teeth. Nobody else was awake so I didn't know what else to do. Guess I could drive to the beach.

When I got to the beach I saw a girl, she had really pretty curled hair and a beautiful dress on. Then there was this dog chasing after the birds. I then noticed it was Valerie. Okay now I'm going to pretend I didn't say those first few words. I honked the car horn and her attention turned to me. She waved and I waved back and I locked the doors and walked over to her.

"I thought you'd still be asleep" she said I just shrugged. And we began to walk.

"Listen, what I said and did yesterday, I didn't mea-" she cut me off.

"It's fine Matt" she said, I nodded.

"Can we talk about things?" She said.

"About what?" I asked.

"Us" she said, I nodded.

"Why do you hate me so much?" She blurted out.

"It's not that I hate you, it's just, ugh. You wouldn't understand" she sighed and we stayed silent the rest of the walk.

VAL'S P.O.V

I really wanted to try to work things out with him, but he's being so complicated. I looked at the time, 8:48.

"I think it's time to go" I said. I put Blaze back on the leash and began to skate.

"You know I could give you a ride!" Matt yelled because I was further away and he was holding up his keys.
