I woke up extra early, five in the morning to be exact. It was Thursday, and I wanted to see the results of the basketball tryouts, was I on the team? I grabbed my laptop, and typed the school website. I made the team, so did Carly, Lily and Alex! I texted them right away..

"Guys! We made the team!"

"What! That's amazing!" Lily replied.

"Well duh! Everyone knew we would make it." Carly replied. She doesn't like to brag, but when it comes to sports, it's totally different.

"Wait...... Varsity or JV?" Alex wrote.

"Hmm.... well let's see, Alex+Lily+Carly+me= VARSITY!"

"I knew we would make it!"

"Good job girls!"

We all had to go and get ready for the day. I decided I was going to wear my hair different."Ponytail, no, I wear those too much, how about, curling my hair, too weird." I thought to myself. Then I thought of it, a side braid! I could wear a side braid to get under Rachael and Callie's skin. Since Rachael always wore some type of braid. I was determined to make a beautiful braid. I fixed my side bang so it would have a tiny curl at the end. Then I let some of my pieces of short hairs stick out of the front. Then I made a side braid, that went a little above my belly button.

I ran down the stairs, I was hungry! I expected to see my mom making me breakfast, but instead I see a note on the island.

Sorry about no breakfast, I know you need it, it's the most important meal of the day! I know you have swim tryouts, so I have some spaghetti in the fridge! Good luck!

Then I remembered, she had a surgery early in the morning, and had to be at work by 4 am. I grabbed the spaghetti out of the fridge to heat it up. I know, spaghetti for breakfast? What's my problem? Well, I was once told when I first began swimming that eating spaghetti before a meet or practice will help. I never really knew why, but I decided to do it. Now I never go to swim practice or a meet unless I have spaghetti. I twirled up the rest of the noodles onto my fork, and ate it. I looked at the time, time for me to grab my backpack and start walking to school. I never walk to school, I only walk from school. So my feet were aching when I got to school. To my surprise, when I got into school, the halls were empty! I was confused, was there no school today? No there was school, but I was ten minutes late! I really couldn't use detention today, so I ran to Honors History as fast  as I could. Yet of course, the hall monitor caught me, I didn't have a hall pass, so of course, DETENTION. And to my luck Honors History's teacher, Mrs.Lebver was the meanest teacher in the whole school.

I walked into the room, and right away,

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!! HOW DARE YOU ARE LATE TO MY CLASS! YOU ARE MY LEAST FAVORITE STUDENT!! EITHER GET OUT AND GET A ZERO FOR THE DAY, OR GET DETENTION!"

((Authors note: i know that was in all caps, I did it on purpose. I wanted to show how she was yellling!))

She screamed this in her, "Ha Ha Ha I'm better than you because I have more power" voice. But she's the one on a low teachers salary. I sat down, and bored myself to death. To the death of my finger nails. I kind of bit them all of. When the first period ending bell rang, I jumped out of my seat, and practically ran to the door, when I was rudely interrupted.

"You!!! Stop right there!!!" Mrs Lebver said putting her arm over the door I was about to walk through. She practically choked me. She motioned me to come to her desk, apparently she wanted to talk to me.

"What?!" I say in an annoyed voice.

"What........What! R u kidding me, you don't know why you are here! Well then I must have forgot that I didn't brush me teeth this morning!"
