The Originals [coming out of hiatus]

Savannah was at the bar with her new best friend, Camille O'Connell.

Savannah: "We need to hang out more, Cami."

Cami: "I agree. School is keeping me super busy. Why aren't you in school?"

Savannah: "It's a long story. I graduated early."

Cami: "Lucky." (A man sits in front of them.) "Hello."

Man: "Hello, ladies."

Cami: "What brings a man like you to The Big Easy?"

Man: "I used to live here."

Cami: "Really? When?"

Savannah: "Cami..."

Man: "Oh, it feels like a hundred years."

Cami: "Well, Savannah and I just moved here ourselves. What brought you back?"

Man: "My brother is here somewhere. I'm afraid he might have gotten himself into a bit of a bind."

Cami: "You say that like it's a common occurrence."

Man: "Well, he's complicated. Defiant, ill-mannered, and a little temperamental. We don't share the same father, which never bothered me, but my brother resents it deeply. He's always felt like he didn't belong and has a long history of getting into trouble."

Cami: "And I'm guessing you have a long history of getting him out of it. What kind of bind is your brother in?"

Man: "He believes there are people in this town conspiring against him."

Savannah: "Wow, narcissistic and paranoid. Sorry, I'm Savannah. This is Cami."

Man: "I'm Elijah. I'm looking for someone who might shed light on this predicament. She works here—Jane-Anne Deveraux. Any idea where I might find her?"

Savannah: "Nope, I haven't seen her in three days, but I know someone who might."

Savannah: "Davina?" (entering)

Davina: "Yes?" (coming out of her room)

Savannah: "I brought you your favorite."

Davina: "Oh, thank you so much." (grabbing the chips) "Where did you run off to?"

Savannah: "I went to visit Camille at the bar."

Davina: "How is she, by the way?"

Savannah: "She's doing good. I'm going by there tomorrow to help her around."

Davina: "Did any witches spot you?"

Savannah: "Nope, which is good. But some guy was looking for Jane-Anne."

Davina: "Well, I hope it's nothing. Savannah, you never told me what happened in Mystic Falls."

Savannah: "I'm not even sure if I can tell you."

Davina: "Please, I just got you back. No more secrets."

Savannah: "Fine. Do you know the Mikaelson family?"

Davina: "Aren't they the original vampire family?"

Savannah: "Yes, they are."

Davina: "What does that have to do with you?"

Savannah: "In Mystic Falls a few weeks ago, I was in a relationship with one."

Davina: "Oh my God, who did you date?"

Savannah: "Klaus Mikaelson, the original hybrid."

Davina: "You dated the most dangerous one of all."

Savannah: "Yes, I did."

Davina: "What happened?"

Savannah: "He cheated on me with my best friend, a werewolf."

Davina: "Oh my God, that's awful. Who was she?"

Savannah: "Her name was Hayley Marshall. I met her in Mystic Falls, and we became best friends."

Davina: "When did the cheating start?"

Savannah: "Hayley made a deal with the wrong person, so I asked Klaus to protect her while I was away. But when I came back, they were in bed naked together."

Davina: "Oh my God, you deserve better. Klaus doesn't deserve you. They both don't."

Savannah: "Yeah, that's why I came here—to go back home and be with my family."

Davina: "Well, I'm glad you're here. To be honest, I want to thank them for doing that because if they didn't, you would have never come back."

Savannah: "Yeah. So, did any witch do magic?"

Davina: "There was one. Do you remember when you were talking about Jane-Anne?"

Savannah: "I haven't seen her in a while."

Davina: "That's because she's dead."

Savannah: "What? How do you know?"

Davina: "Marcel killed her because she broke the rules. She used magic to summon someone here."

Savannah: "Who did she summon?"

Davina: "She summoned your ex, Klaus Mikaelson, to town. I don't know why, but Marcel is trying to find out."

Savannah: "Oh my God, I thought I could get away from him, but here he is in town."

Davina: "Don't worry. Marcel is doing everything he can to get him out of town."

Savannah: "I hope so. For now, I cannot let Klaus know I'm here."

Davina: "But he will spot you one way or another."

Savannah: "Well, I better pray that he doesn't."

Davina: "Where are you going?"

Savannah: "I'm going to take care of some business. Be right back."

Marcel was in his apartment when Savannah came in.

Savannah: "Marcel, is it true that Klaus Mikaelson is in town?"

Marcel: "Yes. How did you know?"

Savannah: "Davina told me. Are you going to find a way to make him leave?"

Marcel: "I told him he can stay here as long as he wants. It seems like he's not going anywhere anytime soon."

Savannah: "Marcel, he's dangerous. Who knows what he can do?"

Marcel: "Don't worry, I got this. I have vampires watching him all over town."

Savannah: "Marcel, you need to step up your game. He's an original. He's stronger and will kill anyone who disobeys him."

Marcel: "I promise you, he won't."

Savannah: "You better keep your word, Marcel. I don't want anyone to get hurt in this town, not even Davina."

Marcel: "Hey, we've come this far to protect Davina from the witches. We can do the same with Klaus."

Savannah: "Are you sure?"

Marcel: "I'm sure. Now, why don't you go back to Davina and make sure she's safe—and keep yourself safe too."

Savannah: "Fine. I hope you know what you're doing."

Marcel: "I do."

Savannah: "If this gets out of control, I'm kicking your ass."

Marcel: (laughs) "Okay. Bye."

Savannah: "Bye." (leaves)
