Chapter 8

Battle

You were all in place and to say the least the look on bakagos face was everything but friendly.

It's fine. Just do you best and don't show him your fear anyway, Mr Aizawa wouldnt let him hurt you too bad...right?
It's ok you'll be fine. Todoroki will also protect you too surely.

Just as the match begins he shoots towards you his hand ready and poised to blast.
You've practised your moves in parks and fields as you've always wished of bieng a hero.

You put two fingers to floor, this move gives your body the engery in the earth. And you shoot back up running at great speads towards him so fast he couldn't see your movements, when you reach him he trys to blast you but you dodge giving you an opening to grab his arm removing His energy making him weaker.

Considering this is my first battle with anyone exept todoroki since we were little I'm doing considerably well.

He growls at you making you shiver and step back. No you can't, you can't show him your fear you have to show your strong enough to be here.

He sends a wild blast your way from his palm. He must know he can't come close contact but if he won't come close you can't make him any weaker so you have to keep dodging his blast with your wave walls
(Large shields of engery that can block attacks and shield from basically anything.)

As he shoots you block making him more angry as you continue to dodge his mighty explosion.

"DAMN YOUUU!! DIE YOU BASTARD" he jumps up and flies towards you using his explosions to push him through to air.

You press you fingers to your head hoping your touch from earlier was enough to be able to use his energy to read his mind.

(part of your quirk is being able to use peoples engery to read their mind, see what their planing)

He's planning to use phisical attack since he can't use his explosion on you.
Knocking you of guard you were blew into the air and knocked to the ground with a painfull thud. You were too busy thinking how to deal with him you haven't noticed he'd got close and blasted you right out your skin.  Working under pressure was never your thing, you just hope todorokis having better luck then you.
You stumble back to your feet.
Okay, it's risky but I'm gonna try get a close attack, steal his engery make him weaker
Then try knock him out.

He won't think you'll try that move again. With your plan set in stone you keep fighting blocking as many of his attacks as you can with various of you moves, either a simple dodge a wall or even throwing them back at him with a move you call engery wind blast which shoots your apononts stack straight back. You can see him getting more furious as each second goes on. As he prepares a giant explosion you run behind him ready to throw a hard punch...

But he's already three steps ahead. Quicker than you could think he swings his great fist which is covered by a metal cuff straight in your direction eventually meeting your face.

Bang.

He smashes the mighty metal covered hand into your head, you crash to the floor his smug face grinning with pride as you fight for conciousness.
As well as you can you keep your eyes open despite the menecing pain to watch what he does next. He stands over your shaking body hoving his open palm obove your face a small fire lighting inside his hand.
Shit.

"TIME TO DIE YOU WEAKLING!! ONE PUNCH AND YOUR OUT!!? IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!! DAMMN YOUU"

"P-please..dont." you voice cracking with fear and words stutter, of course he laughs at your now lack of confidence.
Wears todoroki when you need him, I really hope he finishes this battle..bofore I get blasted out of existence.

TODOROKI'S POV

It's taken awhile to find the spot where their stolen object hides but once I found it it was very easy to place my hands on.
Once I'd seen kirishima stood by the large bomb I stood where I was so he wouldn't see me.
"We've already won, y/n"
I said to myself before I  Placed my hands of the walls and ice began trailing every floor, wall and ceiling. I walked into the room where he was stood shocked, hid feet unable to move. Since he couldn't move I went over to him and froze the rest of his body up to his neck. After I'd dealt with him i placed my hand on the grenade to signify my win.

I heard Mr aizawa shout for the end of the battle so I unfroze Kiri and the building then made my way back to where y/n was fighting bakago. God I hope she's alright.

I run back to see y/n trembling on the ground and bakago stood next to her with his fist over her head and Mr Aizawa shouting at him.

"BAKAGO THE MATCH IS OVER"
Mr Aizawa shouts at him but he won't listen.

I run over to him and push him away from her. "The fights over bastard. Me and y/n won."
He growls at me and steps back
"Tch whatever. You may have won icy hot but you didn't beat me."
He had such an attitude. He thinks he's supirioir but if he wants to be a hero he's got to stop threatening to kill everyone he fights. But that's not important, y/n Is hurt.

"Y/n are you okay, here let me help you up"
She grabs my hand and I help her up, she seems kind of 'out of it' if you know what I mean bakago must have thrown a nasty punch.

"Y-yeah I should be alright...I deffinetly failed though. I couldn't even put up a fight."
I feel so sorry for her. She was put up against one of the best students in our class and deffinetly the most harsh. It's not fair at all.

"No hey listen don't give up hope, I'm sure you did really well bakago was a tough match."
She smiled fainlty and I returned it before the girls surrounded her

"Y/n! You were so good out there!! Those moves were awesome! That thing you did where you put your hands on the ground and used the engery to run really fast and steal his energy that was so cool!" Mina says to her which seemed to give y/n some confidence. I expect she did really well. She always used to do exeptionly when we used to fight and she'd never give up.
"See it sounds like you were amazing y/n come on let's go talk to Mr Aizawa"
She nodded her head and with my arm round her to support her since she was stumbling we walked to the teacher.
