A short but sweet story about two childhood friends, brought back together through coincidence. Or was it destiny.
They soon come to see that they both mean more to eachother than they both think. And find a way to communicate it...
Once all your classes had finished that day you turned to todoroki who was sat next to you and smiled making him look at you aswell. You've basically made friends with the whole class today, everyone seems so nice and welcoming so you just wanted to thank him again. "I just want to thank you again shoto...ahaha I've loved today and now I get to go to school here and it's all thanks to you..thankyou" He nodds his head, he knows how much this means to you and thats all that matters. Despite you knowing him previously, he's changed..you never knew him after his mom lashed out because your mother didn't want you involved with all of that...his father ruind his family and in some ways it feels like it's up to you to give him that sense of comfort in a family...but instead in a...friend. Only a friend? "It's find y/n, I'm glad your happy. we can walk back together if you want?" Sparks fly through you forcing a smile to your face and a small pink tint to your cheeks. "Yeah that sounds good. Let's go"
So you and him both walk back together chatting about random things and you gossiping to him about all the people you don't like. "Honestly, have you seen that mineta guy?! He's a pervert! He literally grabbed my skirt and tried to lift it up that's not all! In the training thing when he was fighting yaorozu he flung himself at her! Disgusting that kid needs teaching some manners."
Todoroki listens to your rant and chuckles watching you as you talk. "What are you laughing at? Hes a pervert!" Todoroki nodds agreeinlgy at the statement "yes..it's true he is, you'd of thought by the age of 15 he'd of learnt how to be respectfull towards woman wouldn't you." Hearing this from him makes you feel warm inside, todoroki is In everyway special, hes kind, caring, respectfull, and in his own way funny. How could you not feel safe with him? You could really talk with him for hours but your house is here and he said he can't stay but he'll text you. Which reminds you. "Can you change your profile picture?" You looks confused "From Soba..why?" You laugh "Because I have a better idea! Give me your phone" He passes you his phone and you take the camera up "were taking a selfie together, lemmi just fix your hair haha" You style his hair and then quickly take the selfie so he doesn't move "Perfect!" You set it as his profile and continue to laugh "Look at your hair it's very handsome"

"That's nice, I quite like my hair like that" He nods at the phone and gives you a small smile. Before you have to break your good time "I have to go now..I'll see you tomorrow do you want to walk together?" You ask whilst he walks you to your door "Yeah I'll come here tomorow..see you y/n" You smile "see you"

That evening your mom questioned you about the day you had your dinner and you were just sat at your desk which looked out through a big window onto your street (which is really quite BC it's an estate.) It's currently half past midnight but you can't sleep so you just deside to watch out the window for awile at the moon and stars until you see sombody in a big coat walking in the middle of the street, they look sad and alone...wait that person...it's todoroki.
You stand up and Look closer at the person to confirm yourself before opening your window and shouting to them "Hey todoroki! Wait there" Just as he looks up you rush downstairs with your coat and pyjamas on before making your way to the lonely boy wondering the streets. "Y/n you don't have to come out..it's cold I was just getting some air..." You shake you head and tell him you couldn't sleep anyway, but he's right it's freezing out. You link arms with him so your close and he uses his left quirk to warm you up a bit. "What happend at your house? Are you okay?" He looks down like hes ashamed to tell you. "My sister wanted me, my brother, her and our dad to have dinner together but it all went wrong...and it ending kind of...phisical, my dad slapped me and said jm wasting my time with my siblings..he called them useless and failers...I just can't stand being there anymore it's terrible."
Your heart aches for him it really does. it must be awfull having a family like that, familys are meant to be loving at kind. "Hey...it's okay your with Me now. So you can relax" This gains a full smilr from him which can only make you smile before he chuckles at looks you up and down "Cute striped pajamas" you laugh and playfully nudge him as you both walk endlessly down the roads of your estate. "If you could be anywhere? Where would you be?" You ask him, both of you looking up at the stars twinkling above you. "Here, with you." Everything he says sounds like he's made to say it.. "Really..you'd turn down everything else just to be here" He nods and slowly brings you into a warm embrace. You sink into the hug and too wrap your arms around him as he does to you. "I know that I'm not exactly a fun person to be around y/n but..you make me happy. And I like making you happy so I guess I wanna stay with you..". You smile at his shyness, he was obviously nervous to say that in fear of rejection. "You know what. I agree I'd turn down everything else to be here too. And you are very fun, some people dont think so but I do." You sepereate from your hug and you yawn then rest your head of his shoulder tiredly. "Do you want to go back home? You look tired" You nodd and you both walk back but you struggle to keep your eyes open. Once he drops you back you give him one last wave before watching him walk off into the distance. I hope he goes home alright, as much as I hate the thought off him at that house I don't want him to freeze out in the cold.
Y/N:. Please make sure you go home okay? I don't want you to get too cold and if your not going home come back here and you can stay here I'm just worried about you x
You send him a text hoping he has his phone with him and lucky for you does.
Shoto: I'm nearly back home now, please don't stay up worring about me I go for a walk in the dark almost every night. You should sleep, sweet dreams X

TODOROKI'S POV.
I get back to the house and fell asleep almost as soon and I got in, ignoring my family all the way up only thinking of how y/n text me before and wished me a good sleep..nobody's ever done that for me.
YES I LOVE THIS! IM TRYING MY BEST TO DRAG THIS ON SO THERE KIND OF SEEING THAT THEIR DRAWN TO EACHOTHER RIGHT NOW BUT SOON....THEYLL SEE SOMTHING STRONGER.
