The Suit

Bonnie shoved me towards the stage, but I stumbled and tripped over something very large and bulky. I fell forward towards the edge of the stage and threw out my hand to shield my face from a large splinter jutting from the stage. My thumbnail caught on the splinter and my thumb bent back, almost touching my wrist. My mouth opened and closed and little squeaks of pain slid out of my throat. I cradled my hand to my chest, forgetting it was what held me up, and fell with a slap to the floor. I rocked back and forth, holding my right arm as close to my body as possible, as if that would protect it. A cold, metal hook latched onto my right arm and pulled me up by it. I cried out when the hook had wrapped around the exact area of my arm that had made a snapping sound earlier. My diaphragm quivered, too fast for me to get a proper breath, when I saw who the hook belonged to.

Foxy looked worse than the first time I had seen him. More wires hung out of his eyes and bits of his face had flaked off, revealing smooth metal and wires. I looked behind him and saw Freddy, holding a yellow suit with so much mold and gunk on it, it looked more the color of puke. Ears, that resembled Bonnie's ears, stuck out from its head and flopped around. In a flash of movement, Foxy was behind me, Freddy was in front of me and my foot was already halfway in the suit, held by a yellow hand, Chica's hand. I screamed as she forced my foot farther into the leg of the suit.

I squirmed and tried to pull my foot back and fell backwards. Foxy's arms locked around my shoulders and held me up. I wriggled my torso as much as I could, still trying to pull my foot out. Freddy stepped around the suit, which was blocking my view of him, and socked me right in the ribs.

The blow knocked the wind out of me. I gasped for air and my side throbbed. I tried to hold my hands to my ribs, but Foxy was holding my arms at my shoulders in a way so that I could only move my arms at the elbows. I felt something thick sneaking up my throat. I coughed dark red liquid onto the suit and some dribbled down my chin. More hands grabbed my other leg and both were shoved all the way to the bottom of the suit. The sides of my legs were both cut deeply by a large, sharp piece of metal that jutted out inside the suit. I tried to scream, whisper, anything, but blood gathered in the back of my throat again and I made an odd gurgling sound.

I suddenly thought about Mike. I watched his face disappear from view over and over again in my mind. I thought about the look on his face, a mixture of surprise, horror, worry, and maybe even a bit of sadness. Sad. Why was he sad? Was it because I was in pain? Or maybe . . . it was because it'd be the last time he would see me. 'Could I die today? Am I going to die?.' I thought, 'Yes. I am going to die today.' I accepted the fact and my whole body went limp and numb. I didn't feel my arms being forced into a mess of mechanics. I didn't feel cold metal hands gripping my shoulders. I couldn't hear anything except for this empty ringing in my ears. Yet, I saw the head, the place where my own head was supposed to fit inside of, and I saw the metal bars and wires that crossed the space inside of it. 'I don't want to die.'

I tensed every muscle in my body and jerked away as hard as I could. The animatronics had relaxed their hold on me so it was quite easy to break free. I tried to run, but I was slow because of the suit I now wore. In no time, the animatronics had knocked me to the ground and Freddy poised the animatronic head opening above my head.

I thought about Alice. I couldn't remember what I last said to her. She was my best friend. And she left me here. She left me here to die.

'This is her fault.'

Rage filled my insides. I could hear my heart beating in my ears. I yelled as loud as I could. I don't know what I yelled, I just had to -needed to- let out this fire inside of me.

I took a deep breath and sighed. Suddenly Freddy threw down the head. I twisted my face to the side to avoid being hit. The animatronic head fell toward me and hit my neck, despite my attempt to dodge it. One of the metal ears on the head still laid on my neck. Chica picked the head up and yanked off the top of its bunny like ear. Bonnie pulled something out of the ear. I couldn't get a good look at what it was before Foxy leaned down into my face.

"We'll see you again," A monotone, robotic voice said. There was some static and a long, high-pitched beep after the word again.

I drew my brows together at the words, wondering who spoke them. 'Could they talk?' I thought, staring at Foxy.

Foxy brought his hook up to my face and ran it along my jaw. I swallowed. His hook stopped at my neck and turned so that the point grazed my skin. I held my breath. Foxy's hook lifted from my neck, but, just as I relaxed, it shot back down and cut into my neck. My eyes widened and as soon and the hook left my neck, something was pressed into the wound. I gasped and sputtered. Black dots danced on the edges of my vision and my eyelids grew heavy. I fought to keep my eyes open. I couldn't tell if I succeed though, because the dots in the corners of my vision grew larger and completely blocked my sense of sight.
