The Letter

Jisoo's POV

After I went inside the manor, Jennie came running to me.

"Welcome back chu. Do you wanna freshen up?" Jennie ask.

I smile and nodded.

Jennie return the smile as we made our way towards the washing room.

"Chu. A letter arrived from the palace." Jennie said as she help with my clothes.

"A letter? What letter? What does it say?" I ask, checking the water temperature.

"Leave us alone." I said to the other workers standing who were here to serve us.

"Yes Madame Kim." they all bowed and walk out leaving me and Jennie alone.

"The letter is from the third consort. She wants you to embroidered a decorative banner for her." Jennie said, helping me with washing my hair.

I look towards her.

"A decorative banner? Thats gonna take long."

Jennie nodded in agreement, "she ask for you to come to her palace. She has send a token with the letter saying the token will grant us the permission to enter the Imperial palace."

I sigh, "Okay. Then lets get ready soon. Its not good to make a royal consort wait."

Phoenix's POV

"Minister Kang. I am asking you one last time where your real son is and what is the reason behind doing this with Noble Son. If you still won't open your mouth, I have to use other methods." Taehyung threatened.

He was flaring with coldness.

Minister Kang tried to avoid eye contact with him. He was too afraid to see his face.

The Imperial Gaurds were all silent. They know better than too irritate Sir Kim when he is full into Imperial Commander duty.

Minister Kang was still silent.

There. Taehyung loosed it all.

He took a hold of Minister Kang's collar.

"You still won't speak huh." Taehyung whisper, in such coldness that it sends shivers down every person inside the room.

"I-I will s-speak." Minister Kang finally said for his dear life.

Taehyung smirk, "start."

Minister Kang took a inhale deeply before starting,

"It was all pre-planned. Me and my son killed a commoner of the same body features as of my son. Then we put the shard of sword inside his body and stitch it. We burned it down so people won't recognize his face. Then I spread the false news of my death son.

My son went to Noble Son's manor and ofcourse we knew it would destroy his reputation. Thats what we wanted. To destroy his reputation so that he can loose his position in the Imperial palace."

"Why did you do that?" Taehyung continued.

"Because, Your Majesty treasured him so much so it was clear that the next successor of his post would be his son. But I wanted that post for my son." Minister Kang said.

"Your which son?"

"My second son."

Taehyung couldn't help but be disgusted.
