"hyung," felix spoke in a soft voice, god bless him for lowering his volume because minho really couldn't handle anything loud at the moment. "you okay?"

"hm? yeah, i'm fine, lixie. don't worry about hyung," minho reassured with a smile. "i think i'll stop for today, though. your hyung isn't that young."

"you're only 24, stop acting like a hag." felix snorted. "want any company?"

"nah, i'm only going to the store than back home to nap before work." minho yawned. "got a shift today?"

"yep."

"nice. i'll see you there then."

the streets bustled with people, and glittered with afternoon light that seeped into the buildings and the pavement.

minho walked up the stairs to his small apartment in the run-down building. he was working on saving up money, so he could find a better place to live -- luckily, that dream didn't seem very far away, since his new job paid him tons of money.

okay, maybe his workplace was kinda suspicious and weird but that's alright! at least he got money.
